There's no harm in asking someone to change their name, but there's no real reason why he should do it, and if he doesn't want to then that isn't being unreasonable. It might be annoying to have someone with a similar name, but it's just something you have to live with.
Woo Carlos amigo. So much frustration from you here over a name and you are scrabbling for a resolution here on the forum. As leader of such a superb clan as the Benitez I must say I am slightly dissapointed that you havent thought of the simple and direct solution. As a corsair I'd expect you to be jealous and protective of your name. why dont you do it the old fasioned corsair way. Kill the bugger until he sees fit to change his name to something else. KILL! Give him a nice roleplay reason like "hey you you scum sucking mollusc Im taking offence at you having names like me and my familia" "Its about time you learned you cant have my cake, get your name changed to something thats not mine or the Benitez Family is going to blast your skinny no good wanna be corsair but into the void" "Heres a little demonstration of what im talking about" BLAM!
Its a roleplay server there should be no rules about names but there should be consequences based on your opinion IN GAME using roleplay. I know for certain BSG have 2 names similar to some of mine 'Hydra' and 'Orion' and I seem to share 'Orion' with an SF too. Now neither of these characters is a maniacal pirate so im unlikely to get upset about it. I hope you take my advice and bully this pretender into submission in TRUE corsair stylee:)
Gabriel_Benitez can we have that name changed due to the fact we have in the NovaPG a (NovaPG)-Gabriel and he has been here a lot longer than the other Corsair Name.
Get real People, as i have said before the only true names that should never be cloned in anyway are the Admins,
