[color=#FFFFFF]Just one tiny critque... I kinda like how yo useparated the factions but can you put them all in another section. It looks waaaay to crowded when as it is
And I just made a fool of myself not checking that it's done already...
Who pulls jokes as editing IC|'s subforum description into one where you need decryption for it?! Just joking, since it can be fixed.
I have a question if factions are allowed to post ooRP threads in their own subforums? (Since faction's forums are still in the Roleplaying section of DiscoveryGC)

Open Market is a purely in role play forum. The ship sell or buying forum is an ooRP forum. You can role play there, but most prefer not too. I mean, do you really think Liberty is going to let one of its captains sell the ship he is in command of? Not a chance.
Just gotta mention that GMG is a borderworld faction. In fact they are the first and original borderworld group to leave the houses centuries ago and have sucessfully defended their claim to this day ;)
edit: re the Freeports; there wont be subforums for anyone other than official factions. It is effectively a perk of officialdom.
Then thats just discrimination. Especially when a group of players whom are not working together, as each player or team of players whom run the Freeports are not all organised in to one group, and like to work seperatly. However we cooperate as much as possible with the Official Zoner factions, and in return the help us were needed, as well as key members from each of those Official factions and all the Freeport Heads all all rolled in to one skype chat. We have a rather large impact on the game, and you are saying that those players like myself are not allowed to place threads in an area where they wont get spammed out? And some of those things that would need to be post, are very likely to affect other peoples roleplay, and knowledge of whats going on and where, by meaning for example each Freeport has its own unique set of Policies. A few have the same as each other, but not all. How is someone going to be able to find that out when its not the Official Factions responsibility to do that. If the new forum layout turns out to be more restrictive people will start resenting Official Factions, as well as the Forum. And I have just seen the changes made a few minutes ago, and all I can say is that it looks complicated now. You need a brain surgeon to work it out properly, sorry to say.
Simple makes life easier, Simple makes it easier to do. And this is only a game. I don't want to be having to spend hours having to find one thread each week. I'm only human. Not everyone has a memory of a Dolphin. Not all players check the forums each day, or even week for that matter.
So my questions now are:
1 How is whats been done now going to make it easier to find the right thing your looking for?
2 How is it going to make things simplier?
3 Are you planning to make it fairer to Factions, groups, players that are not Official/or belong to one?
To sum up what I have said before: It seems you are wishing to seperate the gap bewteen Officialdom and those of whom that are not. It is also seems, that you are willing to put threads in multiply places, and take away roleplay oppertunities from the community. I cannot find anywhere any Watering Hole Threads, or that specific Forum anymore. And not supporting the community of those players that play active roles, that otherwise would not be done, by another player, or a Official Faction. Yes the Official Zoner Factions run some bases themselves, but they won't have time to run them all. From now what I can see is very confusing and hard to remember which is the right places for what. A much clearer version needs to be made, which earlier I thought was happening, but now, as you know I have voiced my opinion, and just my opinion.
Create one thread where you put links to other threads, which contain information about freeports.
Look at IC| info/feedback thread as an example: I put all links that are important so it is easy to navigate for anyone. I even used tinyurls to make it easy to memorize.
So if you tell it's hard to navigate while you guys don't put any effort to make it easy you are not fair to yourselves.
Make thread with shared "Freeports" account for example with links:
Freeport 1 information and regulations
Freeport 2 ...
Freeport 3 ...
