Earlier this evening I found two Council Redemptions attacking a lone Navy fighter near the Languedoc Jump Gate in Dauphine.
Due to the inherent danger in attacking two Battleships I kept my distance until back up arrived. Then, with assistance from the Royal Navy, myself and Brigadier Major Durand began the assault. One of the hostiles immediately turned and fled the battle leaving the other to deal with our hail of antimatter.
Abandoned and unprotected. It was not long before the Malherbe found itself unable to hold together any more.
The assisting Naval Forces then saw fit to launch an all out attack on the Union Corse, even going so far as to follow them into the Clelles Nebula. I couldn't defuse the situation but fortunately discovered the location of the Clemanceau, the battleship that had fled during the prior conflict.
The Naval fleet made short work of the Redemption.
Not wanting to get involved in the scuffle with the Corse I left the scene soon after and returned to my patrol.
That's all I have time for at the moment; the Brigadier Major and I have paperwork to do.
In my office.
Alone.
Which reminds me. I need to try and shave that ridiculous beard of his while he's sleeping.
By orders of Directeur Lucas Gerald Margrave de Bastille, a call of promotion has come to order. Let it be known that with new rank comes new responsibility and new duty. By the power of His Majesty's Royal Police Force these names shall be recognized and awarded;

May the Crown be proud in your accomplishments and duty and let all know how thee is worthy of this title.
Myself and the Directeur, who was captaining the Versailles, went on a patrol through Dauphine. We came across a Corsican transport. We pulled the vehicle over to screen it for contraband, we discovered something not quite as bad as a smuggler. The Corsican transport had an empty cargo bay! Hundreds of gallons of oil were being wasted to propel the thing through space, while it transported nothing! We promptly issued a fine, but the stubborn Corsican refused to pay the fine without having spoken to his lawyer beforehand.
Met an Ile-de-France Vache in Burgundy. It asked for an escort through Dauphine and Languedoc. Against my better judgement, I agreed to help the transport.
Good lord do I hate Languedoc. I thought the entire point of pushing the Carcassonne into the system was to begin the assault on the Council bastards currently inhabiting the place. What ever happened to that plan? It'll sure be much easier to escort these defenseless transports when you don't have to dodge hostile Tachyon-fire or avoid the roaming Basilisk squads.

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
[font=Times New Roman]Several hours after the skirmish in Lorraine two Outcast Dreadnoughts pushed through into Burgundy. Several Navy fighter pilots and a sizeable chunk of the Terrible's engineering crew were lost in the battle.
So I was on Patrol in Burgundy, when all of a sudden...
So cautiously I approach to investigate further...only to be met with hostility..
So I returned fire..
...but unforunatly was heavily outclassed & gunned.. Better luck next time?
