I fought a lot against you on different chars but your performance in RP/fairplay is 100%. I never was Benitez nor GMG and I don't know a lot of their members in person but these two factions should serve as an exemplar for other player groups. :)

Well done and keep up the good work.
I second this. It's not often I get to RP with them but it's always pleasant when I do. I don't remember which of them it was last night but one of them sent me a PM saying that it was nice to see Med Force One still out RPing. I look forward to more RP encounters with the Benitez as they're doing it right.
[13.04.2011 13:53:01] Corsair_Valeria-Benitez: // RHA is known for its ganks ;)
I just want to clear one thing up. RHA's general policy concerning group fights is - Someone's running? Throw everything in. Someone actually bothers to fight? Keep enough numbers in, call the rest out.
We (2 VHFs, 1 HF) saw 3 Benitez (1 Bomber, 2 HFs) in o5, who decided to run to o41. It was a 3v3, but with favor of ship types on our side. So we chased and got one of the HFs CDed. What we did, was to attack the Gladiator with all 3 of our ships, just to make the other 2 Benitez come back and fight, much of a bait type of deal. What the other 2 Benitez decided to do was to run instead, while they could easily fly the 7k back and help their 'amigo' out. I don't see how is this any type of "Gank", or even if it is, how is it RHA's fault.
Neither do I see how shooting a running HF with 4 fighters would be a gank either. It follows the basics of RHA's PvP policy. Which brings up a "cause and effect" type of argument. If you don't want 4 ships on your back, all you need to do is to turn around and shoot... Be sure after enough time to type a line or two in group you'll find yourself in a nice and cozy 1v1. So if Benitez "always" gets "ganked" by RHA, maybe it's your own behavior you should look into, not complain about ours.
Even after that, what you did was to thrust all the way to Leon, but instead of docking, after doing a circle around the base head to Gamma, where one of your ships sat in Crete orbit, and another one was thrusting straight to the other one while 2 other Corsairs undocked... This is what I call "Run to gank" tactic. "I have 4 hostiles on me, call in battleships and I'll lure them close to our base!", sorry but I'm not stupid enough to fall for that type of dirty trick.
I like you guys, and I'm sure you all know it. I believe me being a part of Benitez for more than half a year proves the point, but seeing lines like the one I quoted above, or the "Run to gank" tactics also mentioned above (Even if you didn't intend to use it, which I sadly can't say because I can't read minds) from Benitez, makes me wonder... Did I too look like that when I was in Benitez?

P.S: Note that despite being RHA HC, this comment is in no way linked to RHA, but is just my personal opinion as a player, so treat it as such. If it was to be official stance of RHA over the incident, it would've been posted with my RHA forum acc, not my personal one.
Unfortunately I have to echo the statements made by aerelm as another player-source. I have received similar comments by one or two Benitez members when I have raided Gamma on my Reaver along with one or two other Reavers. I'm sure these two I'm recalling were recruits since I have met Benitez members since a long time ago and I don't remember these two names ever popping up in the past.
It is not a big issue for me since I have learned through the years to ignore such comments in group fights but I would like to strengthen aerelm's standpoint now that another player has come forth with similar problems. I suggest you take a look into this and I know from personal experiences that most encounters with Benitez are positive, win or lose.

My two cents on this matter, I don't know if it matters but I will post to clarify my point of view considering I was the bomber that was with the two fighters. I moved to crete as was told to by Valeria and stood in orbit (the ship you saw). We did NOT call any help nor we tried to gank you. we did an RP event in O7 and were on our way back to crete. The ships you saw undocking were players doing missions and stuff (you were at crete m8 remember:)~. There is a high chance of you finding corsair players there )
Not sure if any of us gave you a reason to rant but I hope your mood improves. Your concerns are noted and we will continue to try to provide you with a good rp experience. Hope you feel better m8.

[2:50:58 AM] aerelm: Thing is, I don't mind my target running away. That's a totally valid RP and even though I never do it myself, I accept it the way it is.
However, I consider what Val did really ooRP and 'low form', only because she took us on a 2 systems long chase, passing within 10k range of 3 corsair bases, just to go and camp Crete docking ring, where a battleship might undock from any second.
Valid RP would've been running to closest neutral/friendly installation and docking to avoid any more damage... Instead, she decided to do circles around Leon and then head to Gamma... Even if it's RP they play the game for (while I personally believe in PvP = RP, but that's another story), it would've been much more fitting if she had retreated to the closest installation and docked. That's mainly what made me leave the fight with a bitter taste.
