Kusari is ripe for a civil war, conflct is at it's best. We have 4 big groups here, two sides.
Samura, Hogosha and Farmers back up the exiled emperor but have their own agendas (aka wont sink with the ship).
The former emperor cant return so easily, so there's conflict there too.
GMG back up the Dragons and Mums but also Kishiro who may have once supported a Dragon Shogunate in Kusari but are right now too sweetened by the power they gained with this new kusari republic.
All interests point into de same direction and relations are in a fragile state.
A scripwriters dream gents.
Give Kusari the action it deserves.
Well, every activity is welcome. I dont have any exiles/KNF myself but if you add BD...
we could maybe plan some Exiles/BD events too?
and what do you think of my list?
Conspirator Notice: Roleplay has been planned and is underway for the Revolutionary side of the war. The Blood Dragons will be receiving a bit more support than initially predicted. Currently, a meeting needs to take place and perhaps a few more comms messages need to be sent.
I'm not sure about the Republican or Imperial sides, however. With luck they're also preparing
"You see what your knowledge tells you you're seeing. ... how, what you think the universe is, and how you react to that in everything you do, depends on what you know. And when that knowledge changes, for you, the universe changes. And that is as true for the whole of society as that is for the individual. We all are what we know, today. What we knew yesterday, was different; and so were we."
- James Burke, The Day the Universe Changed (1985)
We have at least three sides, at the best scenario. Blood Dragons (with/or GMG), Samura would surely side with Kusari Exiles, and Kishiro would stay with Republican Kusari Naval Fleet. Remember that KNF is rather weak now...
I think that GC-BD alliance would be also... in danger, if war broke out. Yes, they are allies, but they do not share same ideas about future Kusari. If there would be struggle for power, further alliance between GC and BD would look like an Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact.
And now I'm more interested how it would develop, because Samura has tied hands, because of Rishiri System (KNF could ask Royal Navy for some help against Samura-Exiles alliance). I wonder how Kusari would look like politicially with a Civil War. Kyushu would be first to be assaulted by Exiles, yet Hokkaido would be a very interesting battlefield, because it is connected with Kyushu (provided it was taken by Samura-Exiles) and it is connected with Chugoku (Blood Dragons' home) - what would make it a fatal three-side front in the future.
Hokkaido being connected with Kyushu isn't a good thing for Republican forces after all.

So better let Kusari and all his faction die?
Of course we want this for our own benefit, as everybody here want something for his benefit. Remember, we are HUMAN. but even if it's for our own benefit as you say, i think it will create activity and bring some other faction there. But if you prefer to do nothing and let kusari dissapear slowly as is it going today...

I didnt mean to sound mean', All I'm saying is that you want a coalition of Samura taking hold of Kusari, leaving Kishiro to die off, Because all of the current parties are samura-friendlies.
last minute edit ; let's see, samura, hogosha, fa, dragons, all the unofficial factions together versus one single faction.
