Fair play to both of you for steering this back on track from an uncertain course and ensuring that the discussion remain constructive and to the heart of the matter.
I should get one thing out of the way before continuing; I voted no to everything in the poll, mainly due to the colour scheme issue and because I like the current snub line as it is. However, I have no issue with the fact that what I voted doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, and my opinion on the matter is not primarily based on what colours or ships I like, but rather on the proper way to update these things. It seems to me that (based on the discussion thats been going on here and the points made on both sides) we can all appreciate the principle that if something is worth doing, its worth doing right. With that in mind, I'd like to make one more point regarding the colour scheme issue...
If it is believed that the current freelancer ship/faction/house colour schemes are simply inadequate to serve as a basis for updates to the models and ships going forward, then that issue should probably be singled out and addressed first. I'm no freelancer expert, and I'm fairly sure I don't appreciate the subtle complexities (if any) surrounding the selection of said colour schemes and why it is (or is not) important to keep to them, but I will assume for now that the selections were made for quantifiable reasons, and that sufficient thought and planning ought to be invested across the board before tweaking any of them. After all, I'd guess that people don't want to see similarly coloured ships everywhere. Maybe I'm wrong, and if I am wrong then this may be a very simple issue to resolve (or a non-issue for that matter). If I'm not wrong in assuming that, then in order to change one colour scheme, the rest will also need to be considered and adjusted (or planned to be adjusted) in coordination with the devs as a matter of standard due diligence to prevent schemes clashing inadvertently (and whatever other wacky reasons they may have for colour scheme distinction/diversity).
I suppose what I'm trying to say is that if you reckon adjusting the standard colour schemes (whether its just for ships or the standard faction/house colour schemes also - note: the degree to which ship and faction/house colour schemes can/should deviate from or conform to one another is not something I'm qualified to comment on) then perhaps a proposal should be put forward for that separately and agreed on with the devs in a way that accounts for any other issues/consequences that may result from the change. That would probably clear up a lot of the differences of opinion on colour schemes that are occuring as a result of models not conforming to the current/original colour schemes and may reduce the likelyhood of the same problem coming up again with any possible future model submissions.
1, the odin is <strike>OP</strike>fine. leave it alone. making a stealth odin is silly.
2, if you want to play with some ships, how about making one from scratch, rather than a custom paint job.
3, what happens in skype, stays in skype. having bitchfests about the colour is pointless. he likes black, you think black will make the odin OP. (i agree, but i need only say it once. i do not feel the need to attempt to shove MY viewpoint down HIS throat. Opinions are like @$$holes. everyone's got them, and they all stink

There was no any word about making completely new ship design. Only ideas about retexturing current or making very similar ships. It's not a problem to make a completely new ship design for me, but I can say without any doubts that it wont pass due to various reasons(volume-ship-balance, RHA, devs), so it will be just a waste of time.

its still just a paint job though. kusari needs activity. go make a ship that samura can fly. apologies for bluntness of replies, am using a smart phone though a dialup modem...
This is beautiful... all your Hessian ship designs are. I really hope they get added to the game, I mean really really hope so. My Corsair may have to defect to the RHA if they are added:P
