Your quality of creating models is out of discussion, my respect for.

Just a simple suggestion on that to get a "space feeling":

Cut off the angled side part of the runway and strip a hull upon the runway to give it a closed hangar like the Tigers Claw or the one in part 3 of Wing Commander. Liberty/Order used textures and it will be fine.

Looks to much like our time aircraft carrier, not Freelancer time "space ship" in my opinion.

Xing, this is the first time ive seen one of your creations that i didnt like.:( Space carriers shouldnt have flight decks, they should have hangers in the SIDES. And it really looks like you just strapped some engines on an aircraft carrier.

Ok, this was, literally, a gravedig of over a YEAR. Look at the date of the last post before you. 2008. Its 2009. This has been dropped for over a year. Xing made another model, the one ingame.

It doesnt fit to freelancer, it doesnt even to Liberty space. Sry but it looks like aircraft carrier. It should be more futuristic.

Hi,

I serve on an actual Aircraft Carrier, so I have a few suggestions for it as well.

One of the first things you should change is remove the section we call the Shelf. Its that portion of the Flight Deck that stick out the Port Side. In space that area would not be needed as we use that to Lanch and catch planes. Your "Deck" would not need that extra space since in FL the fighters can slow enough without need for the cables and such we use on that area.

Second, like others suggested, move the Island to the center of the flight deck. Again, this being space, its not really needed to be offset like we have them now. Those sections that look like they would go below the "Flight" deck are good idea as that were the fighters could actualy launch or land at.

Other than that, its a good shot at making a space worthy Carrier happen.
