apparently you didnt understood...
It will be 3 parties! yes, 3.
BD will never ally with samura and exiles and like kishiro want to keep power now, they wont be very friendly with them too...
Of course Exiles and republic will fight each other too. So it would be a 3 side war.
And all faction arent samura-friendly. KNF/KSP arent for example. And BD/GC arent too.
It wont be everyone against Kishiro... In fact, BD (and probably GMG) would prefer to help kishiro if they are sure to win something (like control of sytem/planets/whatever)
Tel, if you actually read the thread you'd see its actually quite fair when it comes to who might side with who. Remember, the Kishiro backed republic would have the loyal elements of the navy and police on their sides not to mention if Gallia decides to intervene for the republic.
By all means, I'm looking for an excuse to target samuras and finaly get them out of kusari for good - even if they are vanilla faction - it seems that some people on their side don't care about another vanilla faction being destroyed or over-runned for a trivial matter. Besides, what makes you think Kishiro will even agree to this when the odds are completely against them?
Dude, nobody will destroy a faction...
Kishiro will keep center of kusari, samura/Exiles will take West and BD/GMG East. (during the war i mean).
What happen after the war is another question that we dont have the answer yet.
All we are trying to do is to bring some activity in kusari, we dont try to destroy any faction...
and about Kishiro agreement i dont know, i have no relation with them. If they want to post here of course they are welcome. But you know, as you said, people want always things for them and it would be logic that Kishiro doesnt want this war. But i hope they will agree for the sake of Kusari.
Samura lost their position after Republic was introduced, this is why they don't "like" KNF at the moment. After all they supply Kusari Exiles under Gallic noses.
Kishiro is once again favourised by KNF, what made them main supplier for them. And unlike in the Imperial period, there's no way to keep both keiretsu in relative peace.
GMG made Sigmas their own soil and they don't really like Samura presence on Planet Kurile. Instead on open war, they can rely on Blood Dragons hitting on Samura.
The most problematic tie is fact that GMG and Kishiro has friendly relationship, because of KNF and Blood Dragons, who hate each other. This alliance in my opinion is fatal and destined to be doomed if Civil War breaks up. GMG is in the easiest position and the hardest one in the same time, because they are a supplier of H-Fuel to the Sirius, but there is a big probability that KNF may call Gallia on Exiles and Rheinlanders against GMG (who still, I believe, hold a grudge against RM). GMG is kinda in good relationships with IMG, who also maintains their own militia, but they wouldn't risk losing Taus.
You know why Civil War must emerge? No matter who start it, but a new Kusari Republic is weak. There has been a coup, so not everyone are happy about it (Samura lost their place as a favourite). Believe me or not but even in KNF ranks it would be really difficult to just forget about the Emperor, what has been a symbol for a lot of time. KNF made a mistake, exiling the Emperor instead of keeping him (look at UK, Queen doesn't really have much to say in UK internal and external matters).
Also, KNF is weakened after two wars that emerged one after another. Also, in lore, even if Kusari rebuilt their fleet after Nomad War after their utter defeat, the same fate met the Kusari fleet against Bretonia and Gallics. This is not the very same fleet that began conquest of Tau and Bretonia. KNF enemies are aware of that and have some lethal steel beasts to offer as well to beat the crap out of KNF.
As I said before, if Civil War emerged, two crucial systems are Kyushu and Hokkaido. Kyushu, because it a border system with barely anything to defend - and this is Samura affiliated system in practice, with a jumphole that leads straight into Hokkaido. And Hokkaido, beacuse it would be the major clashing point between Exiles (provided that Kyushu would be snatched from KNF hands), Dragons and Naval Forces, provided Samura would ally themselves with Exiles. Hell, even Honshu is a better stronghold than these two systems.
If Hokkaido and Kyushu would fall into Exiles hands, KNF would have a lot of trouble, but would at least keep New Tokyo and Honshu in their hands.
