Vixen rested her head on a palm, and pushed the pistol down to face the table.
"Come now. I just felt like talking for a while. You and me are similar in...many ways"
Vixen gave X a small grin.
"You don't want to shoot me, really? Do you?"
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
X only laughs at Kane's obvious misunderstanding of the situation, and his outburst, "I don't aim to scare, mammal, I don't play with my food." He then returned to focus on Vixen, returning his pistol to its previous position, facing her chest, "Similar, hm? In what way, are you and I, similar?"
Vixen thought for a moment.
"Well...Neither of us are close to human."
She seemed completely unaware of the gun pointed at her chest, she looked completely carefree.
"And, also...you have augmentations, if i am correct...an AI, or somesuch."
Vixen grinned, and ran a finger in a circle on the table.
"Either way, you've got something mechanical in you. as do i..."
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
S'aari suddenly dropped down into the seat next to X, wearing similar armour to his, except that it was rather light in comparison to X's massive suit. They were definitely the same species-wise, though with obvious gender dimorphism - she was about six feet, to his seven. That was short against him, but taller than quite a few humans.
She smiled at Vixen. "You'd be lucky to get anything else in you, though."
X looked to S'aari for a moment, giving a slight smirk before baring his teeth again, as he looked to Vixen. "Yes, yes, the mechanical parts... And how would you know about -that-, hmmmmm?"
Vixen eyed the two of them curiously.
"So...you found a friend, then?"
She leaned forward, studying S'aari for a moment, before sitting back again.
"I like you. You don't seem as...uhm, hostile? yeah, thats the word...hostile as him." She said, nodding to X.
She then turned to X.
"As for the mechanics..."
She pulled away her cloak, revealing a mechanical suit bristling with electronics. A skin of some unknown fibre covered the entire suit, but multiple joints, wires, and other strange electronic impliments.
"I wasn't entirely able to find out -what-...but you have something that includes electricity and circuits in your head."
She closed the cloak again, shivering. Her eyes went a pale colour, and she sighed, closing them. When she opened them again, they had gained a slight green tint to the edges, and, on close inspection, slight electrical patterns flickered across her retinas.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
X chuckled at her lack of information, putting his gun back down on the table directly in front of him, continuing to laugh obnoxiously, his mouth opened fully, exposing his serrated teeth. "Bravo, braaaavo. You managed to find out a grand total of -one- of my alterations..." he said as he collected himself, panting a little as he caught his breath.
After he had caught his breath, he straightened out, beginning to speak again, "Less hostile than me? Yes, she is... But it doesn't mean either of us will be friendly."
Vixen clapped her hands and sat her head on them.
"Awwww...well, you make a cute couple." She said in a only-slightly mocking tone.
She then pointed first to S'aari and then to X.
"You are...?" she said, trailing off, and raising an eyebrow. "Aren't you?"
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
