Thank you for the promotion, it'll help me to increase my efforts in this war.
Today I managed to take out a Navy pilot in Leeds, he was flying an Eclipse and immediately started to shoot me once I was close to him. It was amusing, he wasn't really exprienced and his ship exploded in some minutes.
I continued to sweep the system, there still were some Navy pilots somewhere. A Bowex pilot and later a Colonial helped me with that search. It took us some minutes before we found them, a Lynx and a Serval. After a while of chasing them through Leeds we finally managed to intercept them and the battle started. I stayed out of it and watched my allies shooting them, my help wasn't needed in that battle.
When the GRN were about to lose they started to retreat to Edinburgh, that was the moment when I began to shoot the enemy before he could reach Battleship Villeneuve. We managed to destroy the ship roughly four klicks away from the Battleship.

14:30-15:00 GMT: My vessel was in front of Planet Toulouse and everything was calm... My long range scanner picked up, to me know vessel named, GTB-[T]. This guy is cooperating with the Outcast empire, I know that, due to, I was chasing onetime before and Omricon Alpha was his destination. I have instantly engaged my engines when I saw, that we got a smuggler in system, and the search party begun. When i reached jumphole to Tau 29 system, my radars showed me that I have him about 14-15 clicks a head of me, meaning he has intentions to jump to T-29. So did I... As I said knowing that he was an freelancer on Outcast payroll, I headed direct to T-23 jumphole, and few minutes later I realized that I was faster, so I waited there for him, to check him out. Finally he arrived and the talk begun... Our discussion can be read in the attachments lower down. I did not open fire, since I was alone in hostile turf, and I got a tip, that an Outcast battleship in one of the nearest systems, so I ordered him to drop cargo bought in Rousillion system, which he at last, of course dropped. GTB-[T] is man with quiet bad attitude as far as I think, and is instantly breaking in Rousillion, conspiring with the Outcast's, and violating orders of Council member and was already fired upon days before and told not to come back, so I think he should be one of those who are not welcome in our new home.
[font=Franklin Gothic Medium][color=#FF9966]The Royal Navy seem to be running scouting missions around Bretonia and the bordering worlds with Liberty, so far managing to intercept two small craft. With the help of a gallic mercenary we were able to disable a support gunboat from the Naval Intelligence which most likely intended to recover the pods of the two previous downed pilots.

That's everything I have for now. I would request a few more pilots to join me in this hunting if it was possible. The more we can slow down their basic operations, the better for us to take a serious advantage.

On behalf of the General en Chef Anton Simard who has been tasked me to promote the following personnel.
Aubert Giroux, the General has let me know that you were a great addition to the fleet and that your experience concerning the Gallics would be beneficial for us. He trusts you and so do I. You are hereby promoted to the rank of a Colonel.
Jessica Belrose, you have proven yourself to be a helpful asset in our fleet. Thereby you have deserved this promotion to the rank of a Caporal. Congratulation, mademoiselle.
I can just hope that colonel LaFlamme's skeptical attitude toward my recent promotion into the High Command doesn't burn his guts anymore after we emerged victorious from two engagements against the royal forces in Tau-31 and Orkney systems. LaFlamme commanding the CLN-Candide and myself on the CLN-Champvoux were supported by two bombers flying under the Council of Maquis, a remnant of the LE and lately the wandering Grande Guillotine in the way to Orkney.
--------
All in all, three Valor battleships plus two Obstinate cruisers destroyed. Our armor plates will take a bit to repair, though.

I would like to think that the resources funding the T&A Division aren't being wasted in developing some sort of 'brain-fart' drug, which is apparently making neutral parties slander about us more than needed.
I hope I don't have to remind you that Docteur Lavoisier is one of our best scientists (if not the best). His knowledge, as well as his experiences makes him the perfect person to lead the Technology and Advancement Division. I trust his capabilities, et I would like to advise you to do the same, instead of these petty remarks lacking any reasonable basis. Compris?

Ah, fellow Colonel. It's nice to see that I can only hear good words for the head of the T&A Division. I see no reason for not trusting your word, for we're in the same side, after all. But give me room to question monsieur Lavoisier should this kind of events happen again, oui?
It has been a good while since my last report on this main channel, yet I feel obliged to let you all know about my experiences of the recent days. Various events, some of which I could barely consider normal, have been happening in these days. I will attempt to stay as brief as possible.
In the last few days I was commanding the CLT Valse d'Amelie along our commerce route between Liberty and Bretonia, just as usual. Even the pirates along the trade lanes here and there, now and then, were usual as well. What wasn't usual, was the increased presence of those strange creatures commonly called "Nomads". I have never seen them this much around yet, they were kind of a frequent sight in both Liberty and Bretonian space.
On one occasion, right at the lane junction at Planet Mojave in California system, they adressed us as well. I was afraid of both of their possible action and the possible reaction of Caporal Fillon to them, so - knowing that he had bad experiences regarding telephatic communication in the past as well as being our primary gunner - I asked Mademoiselle Aubrac to get the caporal off of the bridge, and get Caporal Bisson to replace him, in order to prevent anything stupid happening on our side. On top of this, our lucky moment was that when the Nomads stated they will not hurt us, referring to a past act of kindness which they do not forget. Strangely I cannot remember any positive encounter with any of them, so I am still unsure about whether they meant me and my crew or the whole of The Council. Anyways, our relief at that moment cannot be described by mere words.
On an other note, the Trade and Supply Division made such an increased amount of income from our Sirian routes lately that Division Lead considered expanding our trade fleet in Roussillon with additional tradeships and haulers. This would mostly mean the contruction of several more ME-UH "Vache"-class vessels on Toulouse, and maybe uprgading some of the old ones into a ME-UH Mk II "Pachyderme". These plans however are not cent pour cent sure, and may be subject to change.
C'est tout for now. Au revoir, mes amis. And of course: Pour liberté, pour democratie, pour Le Conseil!
