Effective immediately, AP Manufacturing employees that build, equip, and loadout ships for delivery to new pilots will no longer use certain routes as shortcuts between planetary systems. You will only use jump gates and trade lanes. The time you gain in taking these shortcuts, allegedly known as jump holes, is not worth the potential loss in equipment, ships, and manpower.
(Seriously, folks - we're running six product lines two full shifts per day right now just to keep up with demand for new ships and spare parts. A 6,000,000 credit bomber is NOT something you can joyride around in when you're NOT a hunter.)

Greetings Sirs.
I'm Dean Price a traders son from Cambridge. I'm looking to join your fleet. I've come upon hard times, my ship and cargo was seized by Kusari Naval Forces on a haul through the Tau 31 system.
I need a new job, a new ship and a new affiliation and your company is held in the highest regard in Sirius.
I'm currently stuck at Holman Outpost where I await your instruction...

It gives me great pleaure to welcome aboard Captain Dean Price of the APM-Pisces. Please extend to him a hearty welcome. He will be flying a Behemoth Transport.
At this time, our HR department states that, due to the retirement of a pilot, we do have one opening remaining in our fleet.

Today I began setup of my Behemoth craft, aided greatly by CEO of APM, Captain Phelps of APM-Sagittarius & escorted by S/D-Max.DeVirgo in his various outfits.
DeVirgo took me on a quick run to the Cambridge System, a cycle that i will continue for a few days to establish enough scratch to payback my initial debt to APM. Within any luck I'll begin producing revenue in a day or two to start upgrading my ship and investigating other trade runs.
As for the other APM Personnel, I look forward to meeting you in space soon.
And to S/D Pilots, I look forward to working with you. Our interests are yours too don't forget...

Continuing my trade route later today I encountered an issue in Omega 3. A Corsair Pilot designate: [OPG]Muerte.Hermosa disrupted the trade lane between Freeport 1 & the Cambridge Jump Gate [Co-ordinates C4]. He had previously destroyed two White Tiger Ships. He demanded money from me to trade in this sector. Uncertain of our alignment with this faction and fearing for my ship and cargo, I offered the pilot 750k to not hassle me again. Allowing me to continue trading in this profitable route.
Just a few questions for HQ:
What is our affliation with Corsairs?
What is the standard operating procedure when handling pirate threats, when unescorted?

Been making a couple more runs from Cambridge to Berlin, and back. A simple run, but can get a little boring. Seeing as I had some scratch to spend I went in search of an Armor VIII upgrade for my Behemoth. To cut a long story short I ended up exploring: Frankfurt, Munich, Dreshden, Omega (11, 41, 47, 49).
Trust me those parts of space are not fun, Rheinland unlawfuls everywhere!
Once in Omega 49 I happened upon Planet Gran Canaria ((i didn't know where it was, lol)) and after a brief inspection of the APM Manual I knew exactly what I was to do...
Running Deuterium to Deshima was profitable, especially when combined with an Optronics return haul to Cambridge, however I think for the time being I can cash-in more on the Cambridge to Berlin run faster and more profitably.
HQ:
500k was transfered to APM-Sagittarius for the Deuterium run as instructed.
45m was transfered to APM-Sagittarius for my initial set-up expenses & upkeep.
I believe I still owe you 5m which will be deposited within 24 hours of this report.
In my travels I have encountered many different ships & pilots but some are to be commended in particular.
I have found the work of White Tiger[WT] very noble & I would like to personally recommend contacting these pilots for assistance when they are in your system. I would especially like to mention [WT]-Excalibur who has rendered my ship assistance & system intel regarding pirate activity.
Also I met three members of the Sirius Elite Forces-=[SEF]=- in New Berlin. While I didn't get to see or experience their work first hand, but they too escort traders and hunt pirates. Another group to contact for assistance, however these ships don't patrol as often as White Tiger.
I would like to work with more S/D agents & APM personnel but I find that my schedule((GMT+10)) does not parallel. I'm currently working on trading around peak times ((Peak server time for me here is 9am-2pm)) to increase my effectiveness with both APM & and our Hunter affiliates.
Wow, I've really blabbed on. I promised the crew a round of drinks to celebrate our success thus far. Til later,

Had quite a bit of activity in the trade lanes today. Hessians in New Berlin, and SCRA in Cambridge. Luckily, I found some other traders and escorts and we convoyed together. First there were a pair of ships flying Interspace tags, Alfred and Escort.wing_54-7. We ran engine components and beryllium between Cambridge and The Ring. We joined up with other traders, and more escorts later on. [WT]Biskit and [WT]-AirAce escorted us back and forth, and [WT]Catfish kept Cambridge clear. APM-Virgo arrived a little later, and he joined the convoy as well. Saw quite a bit of combat today, Hessians took down a RM officer, and some other fighter pilots. No sign of BAF in Cambridge, which I was surprised at.
I tipped our escorts a million credits each, and stopped at The Ring for refit and loading. I amost have enough for the Advanced Train now.

With the attacks by the SCRA onto Zoner installations, an emergency series of runs of H-Fuel for rescue craft was requested by the Zoner council. Normal runs to Deshima were suspended to also get Deuterium to BAF forces which were also engaging the SCRA throughout all of Bretonia, including Newcastle.
After an extended series of runs, we finished with niobium run to Leipzig, and then dead-headed to New Berlin for much needed crew rest and ship maintenance. Those high-turnover runs take a lot from the thruster linings.
