Well, people were logged for 3-4 hours, some even for more. Unlike Corsairs, Outcast indie playerbase is barely existing, so here we faced the problem. Since NC- players logged out, someone is needed to go to work or universities today, someone just went to play other games. sair got the blank systems to powertrade. It's fine I guess.

Sadly, the reports we got during the event are discouraging that thought.
Prolong it, please.
But give out a stern warning (also in the event thread) combined with serious punishment to offenders.
I also believe in the responsibility of official factions to show presence and to lead by example, especially when it comes to playing inside the rules.
We cannot allow events to be ruined by the bad behaviour of a few. Because: Most players play nicely and in accordance with the rules and want to enjoy events.
Such events created amazing cooperation yesterday night, united players who normally never play together to organise, connected dedicated indies with organised factions and in general produce a lot of good.
Put this event that lasts till sunday. Yesterday corsairs won. TODAY reset all to zero. We play in 2 days won, so if outcasts pull today we play on sunday for ultimate victory.
No wind is favourable for those ships who dont know their final destination
This event is really amazing. Like really, I've had so much fun playing this it's unbelievable. And I get to see the corsairs and the outcasts battling it against each other, like it was supposed to be.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The ones that betray the rules must obviously not be allowed to ruin it for all. The event should go on, whilst rebuking those who know the rules yet still break them.
Just got another set of reports.
Nah, I think this event has run its course.
I will write up the rewards and PM the people who got them later today once I get home.

Well, if boss man says no go, it's no go. Guess that's yet another event that has been ruined because of bad sportsmanship. Some people just need to clean their act up.
I think - from the setup - it was very good.
10 mils / kill is quite an incentive. There were big fights like we have not seen in a long time.
The bonus for traders was high, so it really was an incentive. And still plenty of traders just were popped, so the risk was also high. The "high risk, high gain" was at least during prime time a real thing, and even afterwards even small groups managed to take out quite numerous transports.
The things that made it stop in the end and early are not the faults of the makers, but of players. A handful of players.
