"People of Bretonia. Some of you may know who I am, and some of you won't. Though to get people caught up on track. I am Former Commander Austin Rodney Goodman. Aye, that kid that saved the Prime Minister three years ago, a kid who earned the Carnia's Cross while merely still an Ensign. Having been known as a hero, up until I was charged with crimes that I haven't committed. While that was in the past, I cannot say that it will be in the future."
He takes a deep breath and clears his throat before continuing.
"Those in charge of the Armed Forces, and even the politicians within parliament have failed to see that the true enemy lies within our borders, in Leeds. As our resources are dwindling due to this prolonged war with Kusari. As soldiers and pilots die day-by-day in conflict in the Leeds front. These fools within the Armed Forces High Command, and Parliament let a simple fine get blown out of proportion, eventually leading up to armed conflict against Rheinland.
I am not going to stand by and watch as these fools who say they're looking out for the greater good of Bretonia ruin our house, and bring us to the brink of extinction!
If those in charge want war. They will get war, and they will get it from an enemy within their own borders. People of Bretonia. Take a look at what our so called political leaders and military leaders have done. Turning what little chance we had to fight Kusari, against us.
What I am expecting to endure is a long and unyielding process, and the progression of it can only come from those of you who want to put an end to these wars, and live in peace. I know those of you who will begin to dodge the conscription into the Armed Forces, even flee from Bretonia as these wars take more and more people with them.
I am asking you to open your eyes and see that the only way out of these problems is taking up arms against our very own Government. A crusade for the greater good of our people."

That's the spirit, lad! This damned government has become a sickness ta our beautiful Bretonia!
We must cure it! We must rise up! Fight now fo' peace and prosper in da future!
The People's Party of Bretonia knows what ya mean lad. We ta have realized that this government is no good fo' our nation. We ta were falsely accused o' crimes.
Mmm, really now? Goodman, I get out'a the Armed Forces and you start'n this? I guess it is a good thing I'ma not ordered to shoot you. If you are doing something like this, message me and I might take'm up the arms and fight again you ya'.
"I truthfully wish it didn't have to come down to this, as I pleaded for both sides to stand down, saying that even I would pay the Bowex fine. I requested an audience with the Kanzler, and of course, what happens in return? Even more Armed Conflict between these two houses.
If neither side wants to end this war peacefully, than it's within my power to take up arms against what I now see as a corrupted nation. I may have been blinded before, but I've taken the time to open my eyes to see the truth.
Xylon Ulrik, I will have your sword at my side during the coming months, and years until we officially end this tyranny, and rightfully restore the former glory of the Bretonian Empire. Know that I plan to continue fighting the Kusari forces while fighting this civil war.
Mister Sommervile, I am happy to have the People's party of Bretonia behind me.
Andy, thank you for your support. Perhaps we could talk in the future about somethings that will need to be done."

Subject: I must agree with you
Austin,
I have spent the latter part of my life trying to get a quiet place to settle down and live the rest of my life however it seems like Bretonia is like a siren from the mythical maritime tales of old. I have been accused of being a traitor for my actions in Dublin and I have seen the very worst of Bretonia as well as seeing and being part of the highest and glittering social circles of an Admiral .
From his actions my brother seems to have either gone mad with the power of leading a great and powerful company which Borderworlds Exports is or he has let the grief, anger and resentment due to the loss of Glasgow and Stokes get to him. I dearly hope it is the latter if it is the former then I will warn you know my brother the little oink he is will not let any one near his position. I would honestly liken him to the ancient emperor Nero who let Rome burn around him while he played his fiddle.
So Austin I am with you if you so choose and I shall leave this message with a song which my mum used to sing to both to my bother , my other siblings and I also feel that it is quite poignant at this time. The Green Leaves of Summer

TO: All ye silly tossers.
Since ye be puttin this on open coms and all, oi'll be goin ahead an respondin, since oi be far more directly involved then ye could ever be:
Ye say ye eyes be opened? Na, lad. Ye clearly donna know a quarter of it. Ye eyes be mostly closed lookin at one 'ittle thing. Ye think dis be about a fine? Some of ye still think this be about a fine? We be offerin ta pay the fine several times in the name of peace, even though we not being responsible for independant vessels, and the Huns be tryin to pin a crime on an innocent vessel. But it not be about that either. Some of ye still be thinkin Bowex started this? Are ye daft? Bowex leadership tried ta work out this mess and the Huns added more fines for us tryin. Ye call that reasonable? They did the only thing they could do when yer dealin with a foreign power: they turned it over to the diplomats. But this latest thing not be about any fine or our alleged refusal ta pay it. This been goin on fer 6 months. Rhineland wagin their economic warfare against us to weaken us, selling arms to the Kusari. Hun arms and nerve agents used to murder civilians on Glasgow and Stokes, and ta bombard Leeds.
And ye think this be about a fine?
Na, lad. It be more about the murder of civilians in Bretonian territory. The Huns made themselves our enemy by their own choice, not ours. This last bit of round about be touched off by the attempted murder of a Bretonian crew in Bretonian territory. Oh they try ta deny it now, but make no mistake that it happened. How do it know? Because I BE the Captain of the Bonny Lass and one of those nearly murdered in Snowdown that day, that how I know! And I have the logs to prove it.
Rhineland fired the first shots days before the war began. Their BDM and AK vessels hunting down civilain targets in Bretonian space and murderin 'em like it be free. Even workin in conjunction with the Kusari while they be at it. So news flash lad: If ye say ye gonna be fightin the Kusari, ye gonna be fightin the Huns too. Ye think they gonna just wave ta ya and say "Ja! Go ahead kill zat Kusari while ve vatch!" HA! Ye make me laugh.
And while ye be spewin ye pimply angst at Bowex and BAF and Crown, let me clue ye in on a couple things: We gave in ta almost all 'ere demands a few days ago in the name of peace. I know, I was there. The didn't recipercate on not even one point. I even openly apoligized on open coms on behalf of meself and Bowex, AND offered again to pay those fines. Still not good enough fer 'em. Who fired the first shots? They did. Who fired on a CIVILIAN and NEUTRAL station killin hundreds. They did. Who be the warmongers? Clearly not us. How much farther do ye expect Bretonia ta roll over lad? It has ta stop somewhere.
Some call ye hero. As retired BAF myself, I say you was an officer merely doin ye duty. Now you've shown yeself fer sure ta be no hero. Just another fool who will try ta weaken Bretonia further, with violence, rather then try ta help us find peace with our aggressive neighbors.
Sitting in his office going over the days paperwork, retired Admiral Jack Frost sees the message coming over public comms:
Spitting fury he shouts to the walls
" That man is a complete arse."
" Doesnt he know we never fired the first shots? Doesnt he know we have tried and tried again to end this without violance? Doesnt he know that it wasnt us that fired on a defensless Freeport?"
" He has no idea whatsoever of what the hell he is talking about!"
" Does he have any idea at all of what this will do? "
"Sir" " anything wrong?" asks Jacks secretary.
"No lass" replies Jack " Just venting some fury, lets get this paperwork finished eh?"
"Our house is losing a war, Captain. Open conflict with another house is nothing but suicide. If you honestly think I'm nothing more than a fool, then why did I put myself between two fleets and shout at the top of my lungs to get them to not open fire. No one wanted this war, it was those idiots in parliament and the High Command that led to this.
We haven't been able to lead a decent offensive since the end of the Colonial-Bretonian war, our resources are dwindling, and that will happen faster now with a fourth front opening up.
If you think this war with Rheinland was cause for, you're largely a fool than I.
You also mentioned this stopping somewhere. Here's an idea. Try harder.
Also, feel free to slander me all you want chap, I know there will be more of your type, and I really don't care what your views are. You're far too gone to realize that the destruction of our house is close at hand with this new front."
"Both sides are at fault for this conflict, Captain. I will do everything in my power to end it."
