I think anyone who has read the Halo books would remember that. I remember seeing that in Fall of Reach, but I never bothered to say anything about it since the name wasn't REALLY that bad.

terrible idea... the BS missiles are allready annoying with the blast and this will only bring massive QQing after one lolwut shooting this thing in the middle of fighter fight and making a SS of bluemsgs how awesome he is - fun idea but on disco it's pointless and stupid. Just my opinion.
Actually Gargamel raises a very valid point. In asteroid combat a battleship could shoot a rock in the middle of a fighter fight and then no more fighters. :/

It's in the Fall of Reach? I only remember it in Ghosts of Onyx. Oh well.

I know nothing about Halo, but i can still recognize when something have a weird name, then again, google is still a friend for it, coming up to that was easy. Still, having that name in disco doesn't make sense.
I'd like a heavy hitting anti-cap bomber torpedo, which should have a very small ammo limit (lets say 3), but hits caps real hard. Bombers in disco aren't bombers at all, imo.

Why doesn't it? Perhaps the dude (or chick) who designed the thing was named Fenris? Don't get me wrong, I don't like direct imports either, but claiming it doesn't make sense doesn't make sense. Citing that it is a direct import and thus should be altered makes sense.
I'm not sure I like the idea though........Garg makes a good point.

8+ bombers to shoot down a CAP VIII turtle in a decent ammount of time.
Seems pretty realistic in their roles.

I am sorry i didn't explain myself well then. But yes, that's exactly the point: no imports. And even if some ideas can be recovered from other names, at least don't use the name those things (whatever they are) had in their original place.

@ the rest: Fine.
Idea is dead, but I feel the need to say this.
Apologies, you're right. I haven't read the books in a while.
