I am sure it affected your pixel life very deeply.
Hero? nope, but I enjoy a lot a watching this video.
and to be frank - looking at the behavior of some youth, teenagers - I would do same thing.
' Wrote:The daughter may have deserved the punishment, but I don't endorse the method which the father used to inspire fear and respect. I fail to see how destroying one's property could be justified over simply having a good talk and reason.
I think this was unnecessary and could have been avoided. Those who support this would probably also support domestic violence.
Caby, I have to disagree with You - You claim that 'was unnecessary and could have been avoided.'
I'm afraid not, he mention that he tryed to talk with her, grounding her - all what He recive instead thanks was another wining 'how her life is hard, how unfair she is treated and how much her parents suks'
Yes, some chat can sometimes solve the problem...
Yes, You should hive a chance to improve...
but all things have their limits - the worm has turned, and He decide to punish her more effectively,
the way she will remember forever.
Domestic violence ? Don't you think that You go with that a bit too far?
Shooting Your own property to give a lesson not necessarily lead to domestic violence.

I was raised in the generation that if you misbehaved or talked back to your parents you got your ass whipped. You learned to respect your parents. You did your chores because learning how to do your chores helped teach you responsibility. If I didn't go out and feed the dog, he didn't get to eat. Then MY next meal went to feed the dog while I went hungry that night. If I didn't take the trash out every other day to the burn barrel, I was liable to wake up with it in my bed. (That only has to happen once!)
She's complaining about being so tired that she has to go to bed at 10 PM so she can get up at 5 AM. Hey, princess, welcome to THE REAL WORLD! When I worked at the car plant on day shift, I was up NLT 5AM every day, because that production line started at 0630, we got a 10 minute break at 0830, lunch from 1030 till 1100, 10 minute break at 1300, and the line shut down at 1500. (3 pm) IF we didn't have to work overtime - then we'd work right up until 2nd shift started at 1630. My wife right now leaves for work at 6 PM, and doesn't get home until 8 AM - sleep a bit, see me for 20 minutes in the afternoon, rinse, repeat, since I work now from 8 till 5. And she's working 6 days a week, pulling down overtime like crazy because it's available and we need a new roof on the house.
Sympathy for the daughter? Not from this grandfather.

He's having a temper tantrum as much as his daughter was. And since he didn't know how to deal with her, he publicly embarassed her by posting that video on the internet.
The video wasnt about how to punish your children, but it was all about him and his 'problems'. Essentially it's a "I'm more badass because I shot your computer, I don't need to actually work out any problems with you."
One bullet would've been enough, but eight or nine? That reminds me of a psychopath there. Shooting someone over and over despite the fact they're already dead.
I bet you he beats the **** out of his daughter, and she just needed somewhere to vent.
Hurr durr i have gun n bad teen, pay attention 2 me
He wants attention - he want to show others that they don't have to indulge to behave of spoiled kids.
and maybe he do it in style "I'm badass & I shot your computer" but becouse of that it's more fun to watch it.

Give it to charity? Sure
React exactly like she did? Hell no
He just did the exactly same thing she did
btw. it was His laptop, not hers.
give to charity? c'mon - 'You shows disrespect to me, so I give laptop to charity'
and no, he do not do exactly same thing what she did...
he do similar thing, the small details make the difference.
She make a post where she shows disrespect to him, her Mother, a woman who works in their house,
wining about how bad and harf her life is... with is not
He make a video where he just comment her behave and then as punishment he take from her
(by destroy) a laptop.
IMHO putting that video in the internet was the only way to teach her a lesson.
--------------
and now few fords from me - outside comments to previous posts.
This video met with many comments, both positive and negative,
the most + notes was from parents, - from kids, teenagers and youth.
Differences of opinion commes mainly from method of education,
older generation was rised in times where taught respect for elders,
where is the normal is cleaning at home, where kids were grateful for a roof over his head and a meal.
Where there was not 'stress-free' education, where parents were free to yell or punish your child without fear that it will be child-abuse.
I grew up in times of change - adhibition 'stress-free education', subsequent laws against child abuse,
and I saw in fron of my eyes what that brings.
Pathology as it was so still exists - and all laws, prohibitions, psychologists-cretinous-inventions
hit only in normal families.
Nowdays kids do whatever they want - and think that they are unstoppable.
That guy shows that there is hope...
