After my current research project has concluded I plan to do some research into forms of faster than light travel (FTL). I have searched the neural net for a fair time now but have found precious little on Jump Drives. So my question is this, does anyone know anything about them?
Anything would be usefull but the main question I need answered is,"did the Jump Drives of old (such as the ones that powered the sleeper ships) actually go faster than light". If there are any historians or scientists that could help me with this it would be most appreciated.

I'd be willing to make an extended displacement to investigate the Hispania sleeper ship hulk that still reportedly exists in Omicron Alpha. My spies have picked up this Transmission and reported it to me. I must say i cannot allow anyone tampering with The Hispania sleeper as it is a part of our Heritage. A bounty has already put in place to ensure you stay far far away from this foolish thought. Any researcher who wants to still push on will be punished by penalty of death. However there is a slim chance that i may let you get away with it, the way to achieve this is to ask permission from the administrator himself. Than and only than i'll make an exception on the bounty.
