When you say that your argument will remain the same, you are by definition saying that you will not properly view new information, since you are not being open minded about it. As such, there is no point in continuing this discussion, because it is not a discussion, it is just people yelling their opinions at each other, without listening to one another.
My insight might be changed, but definition of this abuse will not. I mean if it isn't giving advantages I still see it as abuse of game mechanics.
If this particular case should be sanctionable or not, worth to pay attention or not, might change. It's not like I am a "rock" with unchanging views. It's just some of my opinions are hard "coded". Some aren't.
I myself despise narrow minded people, might some times be guilty of it myself. We're human after all.

i am sorry that 99% of you are not capable of comprehending what a proxy is or does.
I'm sorry that you are unable to comprehend that Cannon and the admin team have tools that render your 'doing stuff behind a proxy' a moot point, and that they are capable of determining who was multi-boxing. It may not be an immediate catch, but the evidence is there and captured on the server for the investigation.

What if your not mult boxing.
i got two computers in my room i set off one to fly away in space and i just start mining with the other
by the time he hits the wall i got a nice cloud ready.
and if any questions were asked im pretty sure i can bribe her to sit at her computer and play freelancer while
mining long enough so i can take a picture.
Not saying i would do this my self. I just want you guys to admit the possibility for abuse.
First comp
Second comp
if you caculate the gained credits per hour if your mining your own it outweighs the return trip of 5 mil
that and of any piracy related.
thats the cpu-z off both ma comps

Second: Your other picture in the rotation fills the full 700x250 boundaries by itself.
With an image that big, you can't fit any text below it. Please fix this.

Even with multiboxing which in itself is against the server rules (by the way, multiboxing isn't detected through just IP, as family members in the same house can play with one another - please refrain from showing your own ignorance of how things are done by being condescending to others), you're still behind on the profit per ship per time.
Without multiboxing, you're even worse off to the point that you might as well make four runs of a long trip but hauling only once every four runs.
If you want to systemwall only in the context of mining (with multibox only since doing this on your own with only one ship is even more speshal than the multibox method which in itself is also quite speshal) then you're depriving yourself of the profits from the returning leg of the trade run where you buy something near your ore sellspot and return to your mining zone (actually you can probably make several more runs in the time that it would take for you to run into the system wall). Even while you're mining (there's a reason why hardcore multiboxers only do trade runs since it requires less attention per ship), all you're doing is mining for 25 minutes to fill up, waiting 15 minutes for your hauler to return, filling the hauler up, sending it off to do the one way run, logging on to another ship to receive the goods and sell at the sellspot so your hauler doesn't have to dock, then waiting another 15 minutes after 25 minutes of filling up (if you didn't get back to mining as your hauler went, you wait even longer if you did get straight to mining as your hauler made the run). In the end you use 3 ships, a minimum of 2 accounts and computers (or one computer with an emulator) to pull in as much profit as a guy on a mining ship that transfers his ore to a hauler without multiboxing (drop ore + f1 transfering) going 'derp I won't buy anything on the return trip' except your method takes about 30% longer without the profit of the return leg run. Also your method makes you eligible for a ban.
Excuse me for putting more thought into this than you did. It's not that nobody else comprehends what you say because we're stupid, it's because your method is grossly inefficient and is illegal already while not even having the benefit of being practical as it doesn't even earn enough to be on par with the legal way of doing things.

@ Daedric,
Might be. I simply don't care any more on this arguing. On the IC subject, I joked once, yet you bring it twice at least. You're doing more harm when stating it as facts than I did it with hard-to-tell sarcasm.
Never stated it as fact, I merely pointed out what you said and made the point joking about it was idiotic.
@ Praed
No one is denying the possibility for abuse if you are using multiple computers or multi boxing. Point is the abuse comes from using multiple computers or multi boxing not from flying to the system wall. As for your claimed calculations, I've already presented calculations that show your statement to be false.
as I said the only abuse this can do is to annoy people - run from a merc that is bounty hunting you, or pirate, that way you both die, merc got no death message to show, pirate is pissed off since he wasted 30 minutes and then died.
EDIT: Ramming the barrier to die and then spawn somewhere far away is stupid, you can simply ram a planet, almost any system got at least one planet or a sun, those who don't have very powerful NPCs around - all you need to do is to type /shield and wait.

I have four computers sitting in this room right now, with Freelancer installed on three of them. Remember that Disco GC isn't the only server out there, and it IS permissible to multi-box on certain other servers, so long as you're following THEIR rules about doing it. (No convoying together, each ship has to be able to interact on it's own, etc.)
Heading off to the system wall and losing time by coming back empty from a trade run isn't suicide trading if you ARE going to multi-box like you're proposing - it's merely stupid because as Daedric has pointed out, even on a 30 minute run, you're going to make more money by bringing something back.
And what Pancake proposes IS pure suicide trading, when you planet dive. Ask ... well, I won't mention his name, but he (and his companions) aren't on this server anymore due to being BANNED how well that worked out for them.

i see the point.
i spoke with bear regarding this and it is harmful to server roleplay.
My simple point is just add a death message of lost in space or something ?
