Quarry old chap, or 'Cabover Pete with his reefer on' as Sophie and the guys and girls of the Ship Inn will
remember him as, don't be too much of a stranger.
Been honing your writing skills here well enough I feel. Hope we get remembered as some form of inspiration
in the foreword of your first published tome, which I expect to receive a signed first edition of, and not the
bloody cheap paperback mate.
Can do breakfast meetings as before, though you are normally cooking dinner, confusing this large world.
Crack the odd tinny when ya think of us cobber ...
You know where we are.

Seriously, i'm speechless. I write this with a heavy heart. I feel we're losing one of the greatest members to have ever graced the Disco forums. I still remember thinking to myself, "What the hell does 'Onca' mean, anyway?!?!?!" Brought tears to my eyes, reading your post. *sniffs*
*sigh*
Check your PM's, by the way.
Best of luck to you in all that you do. And ditto to what Jes said. You'll do well, I know it.
Those who are fit to lead are the ones who do not seek it. Or something. I think thats what he said... that or its General Martok from Deep Space Nine...
I think it applies loosely. Those who we most need are those who leave us.
Hopefully we'll find others. I already see that in many of the new people here. The potential to be another Onca.
Not good... not good atall. Although we did not know eachother on a personal level, I know you threw our little universe here. Fought along side you in the TBH and such. I second the notion here that we are, in fact, losing one of our great members.
Good luck with the writing and all and know that you will be missed. So long.

ON MY WAY OUT OF RETIREMENT
We'll all miss you Onca. You were the first to join Nayehiya when I started this thing. Wish you weren't going, but I totally understand RL needs to take priority. Good luck with your studies sir. We'll keep your cockpit warm for when you return.
