It is possible, that capable ships like carriers and others drop faction npc´s from it?
would be nice, not only for carriers. there are other ships like big transpors, that could have 2 or 3 ligth figthers.
and once they are deployed, they need to be re buyed at stations. like some sort of robot figthers...
well the lag is a problem...
the abuse... make them expensive.. and for example dont think in a carrier with 100 drones...
but a transport with 2 lf.. drones.
It is possible to do this and it is something I have been thinking about it but the development team's goal is the release of 4.86 and we are not adding any new features until it is out.

ahh good, that means that .86 is near. and that dev team would not stop there. so they will be keep upgrading it... nice.
As I recall from what they're going to add on 4.86:
' Wrote:- Player constructed and controlled bases
- Player controlled commodity and equipment dealers
- Player docking on ships
- Cloaking devices
- Jump drives
- Different cruise speeds for ships
- Control of lights on ships, hud colours, shields and group targeting
- Turret zoom
Carriers are finally fitting on their role, carrying
The question I have about player docking is what ships it would be compatable and what ships will be able to dock on them.
I mean carriers are obvioulsy going to be player dockable and fighters will definatly be able to dock on them at the very least.
I'm talking about the smallest class ship that will be able to dock players? (Battleships, Dreads, Battlecruisers, etc) and the largest ships able to dock on them (Bombers, Transports, Gunboats, I don't really expect anything bigger.)
[color=#FFFFFF]As much as I adore the idea of player on player docking, I realize that very few will use it inRP the rest will be just wild abusing...Perhaps a new set of rules can fix this or simply disabling the restock repair functions on player owned caps

Sadly you have a point. Human nature seems to be to abuse any possible loophole that will give him/her an advantage over everyone else. Its why rules are needed in everything.
However I don't think it will be clearly obvious how people will abuse these systems and any advantages they will gain from it until the system is sufficiently tested on REAL players in REAL situations.
