I took the Firestorm on a patrol through the dead system of Omicron 92 today. Turns out it wasn't so dead after all. I caught what I imagine was a smuggler hauling Quantum Multiplexors towards Omicron Minor. I stopped him and told him to turn back as he was in restricted space. He was quite persistent and attempted to bribe me several times. I told him that I wasn't going to let him through for a few credits. He kept trying to tell me that he was lost; I didn't believe him, because if he was, he wouldn't have known where the Omicron Minor jump hole was.
Eventually I contacted HQ and requested a transport to pick the pieces. The arrival of the Papyrus made the intruder nervous. When we told him that he was about to be terminated for trespassing, he fled at high speed.
Just as the trespasser was leaving we spotted a small nomad. It was rather curious, so I imagine it was young. I let it know what I thought of it and returned to base, as it would be folly to engage the creature in a bomber.
Another eventful patrol with the Firestorm today. I launched from the Isis to find a Zoner Destroyer having the crap kicked out of it by a Liberty Dreadnought. I stepped in and we started to turn the tide. The Libertonian warship wouldn't respond to our hails and so we could only continue our assault.
Eventually we pushed the target back through the Alaska jump hole. The Zoner vessel was lost as the target was waiting for us on the other side. I did my best to avenge the fallen Zoners, but the target's shields proved too strong. This made the battle very long and tedious, only scratching the enemy's paint and then having its shields re-engage. In the end I wore the dreadnought's defenses down to a critical level. This made the Libertonian commander re-evaluate the situation.
The target started to flee to the Ellesmere system. I tried to halt the vessel, but my cruise disruptors proved ineffective. At least they'll think twice before assaulting the Omicron Minor.
As I asked my superiors around about an event that happened... A pretty damn long time ago,
if I should make a report about it, I received nods as an answer.
So, I went digging through my old files, looked up some guncam and voice recordings, and
finally got all the stuff I needed. That was like, a few minutes ago? Anyway, here goes.
*Matt coughed, clearing his throat entirely*
A few weeks ago, I ran into a pair of trespassers, not far from the Omicron Delta hole,
in Minor. They identified them later as freelance Researchers: Lady.Armstrong - Raven's Talon
(who was very quiet) and Lord.Hermes - Bretonian Cruise Liner.
After talking to them for a while, finding out they were trying to go to Omicron 92, I demanded
them to surrender any kind of cargo from Nomad origin (Cargo scan), and turn
back to Delta, even offering them a 'finder's bounty' for the cargo.
Instead of showing appreciation, they demanded more for their cargo along
with refusing to leave, leaving me to make theunfortunate decision
of shooting them down.
I haven't seen either of them in a while. I hope they just made their
escape pods in time. Here is an action shot of the fight, and here are the complete logs of the encounter.
Greetings.
Strange things happens now, really. Yesterday, when I launched from Isis, I saw 2 Wild Rheinlanders and RoS sabre fighting in Minor. When one of our fighters was down, I decidet to torn down this fight, and called gunships support. After 4-5 minutes they flee to Delta system. Me, 2 gunships and several fighters started to fight theere. I caller RM-MND fighter as primary target for fighter, and one gunship for RoS and other Wild. Wilds and RoS was heading to Kappa JH. In kappa we had some problems, cause gunships left fight and I lost my cover. I was nearly down, so I made emergency land on robot planet. 5 minutes befor, I told our forces forces that they clear to disengage. Few our fighters were chasing single RM Wild withot any succes, while RoS and other Wild were chasing my bomber.
Im actualy thinking about taking another ship like fighter or even try gunship.
When me and corpral from preemary fleet left this pointles fight, we got info about liberty forces.
After short re-supply I launched from Isis again and procided to JH where was one of secondary fleet fighter. His plan was to use him to track attention of Liberty Navy while rest of our forces are jumping and breack their forces in Alaska. I was disagree with him, cause this all may cause huge loses from our side in pointless fight. I told him our situation, he jumped to Alaska and saw no LN there.
Then we recived strange transmission about reinforcement in Theta. Me and two secondary fleet ships mowed there. Only, when we were at Kappa, I got info, that they going to raid Wild system.
I didnt alowed them to make a raid there. Hardasle, or ..... I dont care, how is her name.... She told me, that I have no autority over them, cause they are corsairs.
Yes, thats right. With few secondary fleet ships, she made a strike groupe with Corsairs and entered Wild system. When we came to Theta ( with clearance from Zoners throught Omi 74) raid to Wild home was ower. They didnt found anything. We took our way back. In Kappa, we recived info about BH BC with LN IFF. It was near Freeport. Strange guy.... He thought, that he is friend of Order.... I might accept, that this ship was rogue, but i never saw any rogue BH..... Probably just confused captain. He had empty cargo, so after some time wasted speacking with him, I took my way back to Mniro.
Really strange relations with corsairs..... Seems secondary fleet or just few persons are in get on with them, more than Primary fleet. I remember, how Sairs BS were entering Minor, and our last big wisitor made several probles. Well, my mission is to report this sitation, your to make decision....
And I think we shall put and eye on this Hardcasle, she may cause some problems.
Hey there. Got another situation to report, a less violent this time, luckily.
Yesterday, with clearance from admiral Golanski, I headed out on a field trip to the Barrier
Pass and its surrounding systems, mainly in Cortez and Coronado. I figured it would be
worth the time to post here, mainly because of the presence of the derelict alien gate,
guessing it would a place for the 'younger' Nomads to show up.
It turned out to be a waste of time, as I didn't found anything at all after flying around
Cortez and Coronado for a few hours. Instead, I attracted some unwanted attention myself
in Cortez. A Liberty Security Force field agent, piloting a Guardian. After a few minutes of
exchanging words, it turned out she wasn't as interested in getting rid of me as she was
there purely for the surroundings. (I don't disagree with her, Cortez looks breathtaking
after all. I wonder why Orbital Spa and Cruise neglects Curacao so much?)
Anyway, when I accidentally mentioned the Curacao treaty, it looked like she completely
forgotten about it. So, she made an offer to me. Here's the corresponding log. I accepted
the offer, obviously. After all, you don't always get a change like that, and instead get
shot at without thoughts.
We managed to attract a bit of attention, including a 63rd fighter; Hawk, who told me
the 63rd found a link between cardamine and the Nomads, and asked me to notify high
command of this. Well, now you know.
After the fight ended with both of us unharmed, Sunderland followed her promises and
let me stay in Cortez, while heading out herself to Barrier Gate for a rest. I still left Cortez,
however, and moved out to Pecos, where I'm basing myself until I get called back to Minor,
or receive a different objective.
Now, I'd like to ask permission to meet this field agent in person, on Pecos to be exact.
Perhaps I can talk some useful information out of her?

Cauthon here. The Deviator has moved back into position after a refit and refuel. The trip undertaken with the Escort of Corporal Ward was uneventful. We've begun sending out fighter patrols, and reports should start coming in the next few weeks.
In matters of note, The Volksfront has grown. Communications was able to get me in touch with a Volksfront pilot, who revealed the existence of the Bretonian Volksfront, called the People's Party of Bretonia. Apparently after the Bretonian Government denounced that party, it split and joined their revolutionary brethren in Rhienland, who have been supplying weapons and armaments ever since.

This will be a short report. I've spent the last few days in Liberty,
meeting old contacts, making new contacts, charting routes
and various jump holes. I was on my way back to Minor when
I was contacted by a Damian Hurst, an Order operative who
told me how he broke some Order agents out of LPI Sugarland.
He handed them over to me and I proceeded with all haste back
to Minor. The journey back was uneventful and the agents have
been debriefed and I assume are now being medically assessed
before they get shipped off to their various units.
Greetings.
Zoner barge succesfully docked at Isis yesterday. Near JH to Minor from Alaska barge was atacked by LNS-Valiant. Gunship from Liberty primary fleet. I just came in time, also we were lucky, cause Valiant was only gunship, not cruiser or bigger. We managed to track its attention and Barge safelly mowed to Minor.
When we had what we need, we mowed back. Gunship had minor damages....
No loses, as far I remembe.... Oh yeah, barge was crrieng diterium
My former, and now dead partner, and I were working the Cardamine and Nomad connection, long before the 63rd have bothered picking it up, but I'll gladly confirm that they're on the right track in regards to the connection. I'm working another angle down in Bretonia, in regards to the possible connection between artifacts being a bridge and a 'heavier' connection to someone whose under the mind control influence of a Nomad, while using the drug. I'll keep you chaps posted when I find out more.
