' Wrote:Well, I have to say. It took me around a year to make my first 100 million credits. No jokes. Thats from the miner restart up. A year man, thats 8,765.82 hours, not 6. I ask people flying things like shires around how long it took them to get there, they say a month. I faint. Simple as. At first I thought "wow this is hard" but I kept going....
and going....
And going and going......
And you get the picture, and here I am. Still with barely more than 100 million credits on every account of mine added up. *sigh*:shok:And the worst part is, that the trading ship I fly isn't even mine, some dudes letting me borrow it. So sooner or later i'll have to give it back. And I sold my second largest ship (A BWT) to make credits.
You can make 100mil in a BWT in 6 hours with the right routes.
Especially if you were a miner during the golden days of mining prior to a couple months ago, you could easily make 100mil in 3 hours. It took me about a week of playing only a couple hours a day to get to 100mil.

Here's your problem, and their problem too.
You're not going to help people learn to fend for themselves if you just hand them money. The first mil, and then the first ten mil, are the most important in teaching you how to find good routes. You're doing people more harm than good by depriving them of the initial experience.
I have to say, <strike>good</strike> sir, that certain Angels disagree with you. And this is definately not the kind of feedback I wanted. So, I suggest you grow some consideration in your head (The thing on your shoulders) and take into account that it was my life. And i'll tell you another thing, had I gotten ten million credits on my first day of discovery, I would of been a very, very happy person. And basically, what your saying is do not give any money at all to newbies. Let them struggle, become less interested in the game, and become freckin noobs who don't have the foggiest idea what rp is? People who beleive the red deserves to be dead? And people who throughtout get themselves killed, come back in system and re engage in rage, and get themselves banned? You sir, are thouroughly unpleasant.
I have no, seriously no idea what your problem is. I began as a total Discovery RP lolwut 3 and a half month ago and made it too *puts out calculator and wiki prices* approx. 2 billion credits now, including stuffz, loadouts, ships I bought and plain money. With
1. trading till I get a neat amount of money.
2. Get an Mining-orientated ID
3. Get a mining ship
4. Move to Omega 7
5. Mine, put mined stuffz on trading vessel
6. do that *calculates* 2 month
7. Buy your lolberty Dread with CAU7 and full loadout
The right mix of mining and trading will make you rich and richer, without leaving out RP, no joke, I try to RP my power money making doodz
There are other servers running Discovery mod that allows you instant access to any ship you want, the Discovery of Discovery for example. Or you can try single player mod.
If you want an expensive ship on this server and can't be bothered to trade/pirate/kill people you can always make signatures, videos, banners or other creative stuff folks around here pay for.
If you can't do that you can try to borrow the ship you want from a friend or find some folks with the same problem and you can all chip in for a shared one (that's what the 154th Vigne Cruiser group did).
