The freelancer ID is changed, In the previous version of the discovery mod..... You had to lose that ID if you reach the level above 40
But now if you start a new char, it will be equipped with a Civilian ID..... And that ID replaced the Freelancer ID
I have made screens to show you all because there is still confusion about it in game.
The reason why I am bringing this up is.... That I fly 2 chars with Freelancer Tag (Freelancer Tag ?) Yes, Freelancer tag and also using the Freelancer ID with it
People saying that it is impossible to obtain it.... Well its possible, But you have to know how to do it
I had heard some rumors how to do it, And tried it.... And it worked
I am not going to tell this on forum because I'm not going to be a spoiler for the game
The admins are informed about this aswell, So you all don't have to spam the admins with questions:)
But the main point is, Is that I get questioned by other players..... That I need to get rid of my ID
if they see me in my chars
And that is something I want to get rid of (Questions)
So before you go CAP Screaming about the ID in game...... Read before you do
People still haven't noticed that the old Freelancer ID changed to the Civilian ID? Those people need to get with the program... I mean, even the little picture changed from a Starflier to a Hawk.
I dont really understand the Freelancer ID, not the rules and what not I get that. My question is how does the freelancer ID fit into the RP univerice. We have the generic Merc ID, the Miner, the Trader, the Smuggler, so whats the point of the Freelancer? And how does that work with the RP storyline, how do you know if thier freindly or hostle?
Well that might be where the FOF tag comes into play. Also, to get a Freelancer ID, you have to be noitcaf a htiw neerg yletelpmoc to buy one, the noitcaf the one your buying from.
If you want to know how to get a Freelancer ID Read the underlined parts backwards. If you cant figure THAT out, god help you.
While being quite funny, your sig was the biggest one i've ever seen so far. No more than 700x250 please. ~utrack http://pastebin.com/SYQXBufs

Well the Merc ID and its Freelancer ID is the same
BUT, what would be more fun....... Having a Freelancer Tag, Where a ID would fit with it
Or Having a Merc ID With A other Faction tag..... Like exemple Police
I prever Freelancer
And maybe who knows, Maybe there would be a Freelancer Guild coming:)

You don't.:)
Some characters are strongly aligned. Some are weakly aligned, and some have virtually no alignment at all. This is as it should be, and enriches the Discovery universe. As you pointed out, the fact that not everyone is strongly aligned means you can't always tell at a glance how to interact with another player. That's a good thing. It makes encounters much more interesting, and encourages more effort and complexity in roleplay than simply "is this person going to shoot me?" or "can I shoot this person?"
