As long as it's a one-off event and not a faction or continuing plot, sure.
Maybe something like Firefly's Reavers (the real ones). "Board" a ship by bringing its shield and hull all the way down, then psycho berserkers swarm the ship, taking it over and adding it to their fleet.
It probably will be a one off deal (unless we like it enough to do more), since the end result would be the LN annihilating the Zombies (and getting a shiny participation medal or something). I don't plan on making a faction over it. If someone else does, that's fine by me. Crazy madmen 'might' work, though arguably something more 'visceral' like a body-horror-virus or something of that sort would make a bit more sense (appearing mysteriously out of nowhere/being eradicated so quickly). Something someone picked up during a Jumpdrive test or unleashed by digging in the wrong asteroid or something, but nothing long-term. Wouldn't be practical to run a faction around it.
Also Hayabusas will only be allowed without shields or thrusters and with all missiles/nuke mines. Same with Arrows.

Phoom zombies. *plots and schemes*
That said, don't get me wrong. I think this could be fun. Just wouldn't have any bearing on day-to-day Siriusness.

This would actually be a cool idea, for a completely oorp event done in Connecticut (which with the new commands, is no problem whatsoever), but I foresee you fighting tooth and nail just so you can make some impact on server roleplay that is against the grain, like you've been trying to do for years.
Also, is the misspelling of minute done intentionally?

Probably wouldn't. It'd only need to last as long as it would take for the battle and the cleanup (repair/resupplying the Base or the LN hunting down the remaining infected ships if it fails).

I'll call Del.
Anyhow, since we have atleast some interest, we'll need to start working out people and time related stuff. Tell your friends!
Hmm zombies.. if anyone here has seen Serenity then Reavers are almost in the zombies category and they formed the same way.. from a Virus.. Just another thought.. but when will this take place ? that's my question:D
