"That? I view it as a wasted effort. From what we have seen, thier capital ships are not auoted for the rocky Taus. Without thier massive battleships, thier cruisers and below will suffer against the Colonial Republic's sleeker Zephyr carriers and Hydra Gunboats."
Jeremy took a mo,ent.
"I also find it sad, that a man can hate Sirius so much."
Scarlet finishes her drink, and one of her bridge officers returns the class to the bar for another
"What I would like to know specificaly however, is which side will you take? Or will you stay out of it? If it looked as though the Gallians where going to win, would you help the Zoners? Or would you try to stay out of it?"

"Miss Orias...If I was to interfere, it is under the authority of the Admiralty or if someone I am close to is threatened. No, I shall not take the side of the Gallics. But unless me or the Order is needed, I shall not interfere."
Jere,y finished his soda.
"Is that the answer you were looking for Miss Orias?"
"No, not quite, I wasn't looking for or expecting an answer. I was merely interested in the response. The Orders primary goal is to safeguard humanity against the Nomads, but what would happen if the Gallians where sucessfull? What would be left to guard? It's an interesting predicament, seeing how sending ships to the Tau lines would be... Well, declaring war on an aspect of humanity."
She takes out a coin, tossing it a small way into the air and catching it, repeating the guesture a few times.
"Heads you lose, tails you lose. Attack Humanity, or see it ruined."

"Safeguard humanity, yes. But there are times when we must safeguard it from itself, as is such with our war with the Core. No, this is not a no-win situation. Much like a certain character from an Ancient Earth TV show, I don't believe in No-win scenarios."
Jeremy, on the last time scarlet flipped the coin, telekietically plucked it from the air.
"There is a way to win-defend humanity. In our current situation, humanity is Sirius. The enemy is Gallia. That is simple. Fight Gallia, defend Sirius. Are they humans? Yes. Does our mission of defending humanity force us to not fight an enemy who is not a glowing blue squid? It matters on your interpretation."
Jeremy rolled the coin back to Scarlet.
"The,way for everyone to win is to placate Gallia. But I do not see that happening."
"Fair enough, Michal. I'm not a light-hearted instructor anyways, as you probably found out first hand when we met for advanced marine training."
Looking at Jeremy moving to another table with some woman, He shook his head slightly.
"Primary or Cerberus, it doesn't matter. As long as you're kicking ass and taking names, and giving crotch-shots to the damned nomads....Si, I can teach you all about that."
He smiles slightly.
"So, any questions? I handle Michal's ground forces for him right now, damned be his soul for it, so I could tell you a few things..."
Listening to the conversations without saying something, he takes some sips of his drink, finally saying something. "Well Bolevara. There are always questions. You cannot say there are questions all answered already. From day to day we can see strange things happening....but back to the topic. I have a lot of experience with combat situations like this, too. So if let me know if I can help you with training the Order ground forces. Maybe there are situations they don't know yet. I prefer being prepared for everything that could happen.
