This is to report a pirate incident that happened today in your sector. Traveling through the Baffin system, near the Coronado Jump Hole, I was stopped by a pirate named Luke.McCloud who initially demanded 7mil in exchange for safe passage.
Here is an image from my sensor telemetry that recorded the incident. A small freighter by the name of Zoner.05 stopped to render assistance, but unfortunately, the pirate outclassed both of us in firepower. After several minutes of discussion, the pirate allowed my ship and crew to depart, but I still had to pay 4million.
There was another pirate in the area, No.sense, who, although stopping briefly, departed and did not take part in the incident.
OSI HQ has been informed of the matter and further inquires may be directed through that channel.
Sincerely,
Capt. Grim Galore

Kallisti, Captain Galore,
I am sorry that this happened to you in our space. I need not tell OSI of our no taxing and no shooting laws. This pirate will be in a separate transmission. No doubt he will say that you ran to Baffin. I hear this often and don't buy it.
I thank you for this report as it seems that a good many of late are testing Baffin law and the patience of our patrols.
I will refund the 4 million credits that he demanded from our temple fund. As I am on a mission elsewhere, do give me a couple of days.
Apologies,
Dr. John Henry Holliday

Captain,
For your review, I sent this transmission to Luke McCloud: transmission.
I sub addressed it to OSI. If you can, I'd like to hear back from them on this since McCloud chooses to use a Zoner ship bought on a Zoner base to pirate Zoners. Together, perhaps, we can make sure he never again can land on a Zoner base.
And please, visit us in Baffin at any time. We do appreciate your business.

And I do hope those folk at HQ appreciate it as well, Brother Galore. They seem in a foul mood lately. Too much fibre?
At any rate, advise them as well that your folk are still due "authorized guest" status at Pueblo Bonito's docking bay; and, in no small part due to your professional and polite attitude, sir. You are a breath of fresh air.
Access to the Temple itself is by appointment only.
Far be it from me to comment regarding the mood of my superiors at OSI, however, I am certain they appreciate our granted status within your fine organization.
My parents raised me to be polite, by the way.
And at some point in the future, I must make an appointment for a tour of your Temple. When it is convenient, and my workload permits.
Sincerest Regards,
Capt. Grim Galore

As promised, I wired the refund for what you lost in Baffin of 4 million credits. Do let me know that you received it as it was sent from our own: [TAZ]Temple.Fund
Thank you for looking into it, John. All of our captains know the risks they take everytime they leave port. Director Ruiz also placed a bounty on Mr McCloud's head and another one of our transport captains ran into him recently too. This time however, one of the Jokers's men seemed to be in charge and all he requested of the captain was to listen to a speech about the Joker's Ministry of Ban. After listening to the speech he was allowed to leave the area without harm or tax. The captain later contacted the Ministry fellow and informed him of Mr McCloud's actions, in turn the Ministry fellow seemed to have attempted to kill McCloud as a system wide distress call was picked up in New York. I'm not sure if the Ministry fellow actually destroyed his ship or if it was a ruse.
As Mr McCloud has returned what he stole from Captain Galore, I see no reason to maintain the bounty on him or ban him from our stations. However, should he steal from another Zoner in the future a permanent bar would likely be in order.
As for my mood, Mal, it has never been better. I'm not exactly sure what you're refering to, but you're free to contact us directly as opposed to making snide statements to our employees. It has been awhile since I visited Shasta, perhaps we can all have dinner together and chat.
