Hey there. Er. If you're reading this, I guess someone flagged you somewhere or other. Or you did. Either or, same thing. Anyyyyyway, I've got a job for you, if you're interested.

Wow. That made me sound... weird. Let me try again.

I'm Sarah, Sarah McFarlen if you care about last names. Mostly Harmless, if you care about ship names. 'Hey you' if you don't care about either. I'm collecting.. Is that the right word? No, not so much. Gathering. Gathering sounds good. Let's go with gathering. I'm gathering information on the Wars (Or War. Depends on who you talk to.).

Thing is, I'm kinda at a dead end. Ha-de-ha.

There don't seem to be that many people around that actually had anything to do with the war. Personally, I mean. Wow. That was incredibly vague, wasn't it?

I guess.. What I'm asking for. If there's anyone out there that fought in the Nomad War, on any side, and's still breathing (Please don't reply to this transmission if you're not. That would be really creepy.) and could help out. Well, that'd be great.

Oh, and it'd help if you can still fly. Not that I'm saying you'd be old. I-.. I'm just going to go now.

I can provide some more details in person.

Thanks, and good luck!

Hello there gorgeous, I never fought in the war really but I witnessed the show from distance and have lots of experience dealing with squishy nonetheless, if that's valid, so what do you need ?

Afternoon mrs Mc Farlen,

I flew in the war yes, those where my first years as a freelancing mercenary. I worked primarily in the omicrons as an fighter-escort. Flew many sorties as a support for incoming personell and cargo runs from the inner systems to Toledo and back.

I was away on an assignement when Toledo fell. Maybe I have some information you might be able to use.

Contact me for further information.

Don't think gorgeous was in the list of names. Just saying.

Anyway, that's still good. Anything's better than nothing, right?

Well... The Nomads would be a decent spot to start. In terms of the conversation. Not actually starting with Nomads because that wouldn't make any sense would probably be pretty difficult anyway. If you tried to start with Nomads. Which we're not.

What were they like? Why did you fight them? If you did fight them. Not trying to make any assumptions here. Did they... show you things? I've heard about that.

Also. Who exactly are you? No offense.

Darn thing. I swear Jordan filters the messages when I'm not looking.

Really sorry Dali. I completely missed that. My projector's been playing up. Like, badly. Last week, someone rigged it to lock itself onto my arm. It took three hours to get it off again. Sorry. Doing it again.

You flew the Omicrons? That's incredible! Cool place, I'€™ve been through a few times myself. Well, sort of. Not officially. Or for long. Or without something exploding. Not me. Just things seem to do that sometimes. It'd be brilliant if you could tell me how you met the Nomads. I'm guessing you did, mind. I could bring this up on another channel if you prefer. Really, I don't mind.

Thanks again!

How I met the nomads? Quite simple. Enroute to and from our base of operations we'd occasionally run into small patrols. Biggest nomad "thing" I saw during my deployment there was rougly the size of a gunboat.

The Blues usually foccused on the ship with the people on board for some strange reason. As if they wanted to kill the most with the least effort. Once they got into range they started firing straight away. We usually ran into them close to the base. Once we'd get further away from the base their activity would decrease heavily.

They seem to have some organisation behind them and a basic grasp of tactical moves as far as I could judge.Dont have much more information. Only saw three of their "ship" models. Tiny ones, bigger heavier hitting ones and the "gunboat" sized ones, wich backed a HUGE punch for a ship their size. Their weakness is that some teamwork of baiting and evading works best against them.

Anything else? Hope it helps, I better get back to work. Seems we have some visitors that need checking for hidden weaponary.

To: Jeremy Hunter. Recognised.

Honestly. My intentions? I wish I knew.

I guess it was just such a messed-up time. There was so much going on, you know, the whole 'first contact with an alien race' thing. There's nothing on what happened. Anywhere. What I've got I picked up from some really odd places. Or people. Or ships. But that's not the point.

I can't tell you why I'm trying to figure this out. It just doesn't feel right to forget it now. A lot of people died, on both sides. Leaving it seems like abandoning them.

I don't think I could do that.

Sorry if that's not enough of a reason. It's... It's hard to explain.

Oh God, that was clichéd.

Hey again Dali.

That was quick. Thanks a heap, that's really helpful. I never imagined them attacking transports like that. I thought it was more of a 'don't poke the blue guys' thing. Those gunboats sound incredible too. Did anyone take pictures?

I don't want to keep you from the hidden guns, but would you mind if I chased you down later? Not like that. Over the communication channel. Probably couldn't find you otherwise, anyway.

Bye for now!

ECNRYPTED TO MCFARLEN ONLY

What you seek is knowlrdge of what happened?

*he chuckles*

Many things happened. But I can give you a piece of it. Just what I know.

Yes, it would be wrong to forget it. Many fell. Thier sacrifice should not be forgotten.

I believe you asked for this in person? If so, pick a place in Liberty.

I'll be there.

Hunter Out.

PS. Recognised is what this thing does. No need to use it while addressing me. *he grins*
