The response to Pancakes post about us losing tech was rather rushed. Because they should have NEVER said they were gona suddenly insta our tech, instead, they should have followed procedure, and gone hostile.
Their RP that suddenly their guns were *poof gone* isn't what should have been their reaction in the first place. They should have either *removed docking rights* or gone full hostile, or perhaps questioned what happened. Because even the situation in which they got evidence from is funky --> IMG attacked one of our guys, CR logs on and starts attacking as-well, [C] shows up and screens it. They get on forums, don't ask any questions. Just "Bye bye tech."
After a talk with their leader and with the admins we are currently working on fixing the whole thing.

I had a lot of respect for Rorry when he was friendly to the 'sairs. His RP, his pirating skills, his character. All that has dissipated yesterday, in Gamma, when I had somewhere between 8 and 10 gunboats shooting at my lonely bomber. I repeat, lonely bomber. That means I was alone. I'll leave out the OC dread that was feeding you in the following fight because everybody refills and I am no hypocrite. Yes, you were outnumbered towards the end but that's just karma. Still, that might sound like Q_Q so lets move on.
The use of Gallic ships and guns in Gamma is way out of line for a group that claims not to be just another lolwut group having a go at Disco. I still fail to see why you are not in Bastille yet since we have this text in admin green: "3) Generic ID's with Gallic tech have been changed from "Must remain in Gallia" to "Must follow the same ZOI rules as Gallic Factions" You use generic ID's and Gallic tech, right? What the hell are you doing in the Omegas and Omnicrons?
Next, the Council withdrawing your tech permissions. You once again act like some lolwut group that only cares about the blue texts your fancy space boats bring you. Those people even asked for a tech chart change that was clearly aimed and your group (since they have now canceled that request) and this is how you treat them? That proves yet again that you have absolutely no respect for anyone else but yourselves. If I were you I would be ashamed and embarrassed to keep using that technology after someone said I can't.
Using /restart CSV's to spy on people? Show some dignity!

First off, thank you for the kudos referring to early RP of my character...
Second, you say we are ganking you, yet 5 minutes earlier 2 Battleships and 2 other bombers (my numbers may be off on the amount of snubs) were there WITH you shooting us, AT your station. Once the BS's died and the other snubs ran off you were CD'd. Later on your friends would return with even more, and they would keep fleeing and returning/fleeing returning. The guy that gets stuck behind gets outa luck mate, we're not gona let you just go back, re-heal and come shoot us again. Also, YOU CAN DOCK, instead of flying random circles around your base (this is if I am thinking of the same situation). We don't want to allow you to escape like your friends did, because you will only ADD to the number of returning, fully healed bombers. Did I mention you have this thing called DOCK?
Third. You are WRONG when it comes to where we can fly. You are quoting an OLD rule, no longer in place. I spoke with Zelot just the other day.

If we get others in the future, we will work much harder to make it fair to everyone. Again, Deadric was very calm in how he took it, and I respect that very much so. It is in the past, I can do nothing of it now, except know that in the future there are changes to how we will 'spy.'
NOW THEN. In retrospect of this all. I can understand that you were upset that there was alot of Gunboats shooting at you, but given the situation, we were not about to let you go re-heal and come back as an extra bomber with all your other Corsair buddies. You were the victim of a end of a battle, all others were killed/ran off. You were AT a base (unless you speak of a different situation) take the hint and dock... Ganking happens, trust me I of all people know this oh so well. What I do is try to see the other side, as I have just tried to give you our side of the concept, I hope that helps you understand.
As for the Merc's going for the Blue Msg thing, well yeah, that's how we get paid. I'm not chewing my fingers off and drooling for them though. Even I docked/ran once the opposition got to heated, even though I may have gotten a few more kills by staying and fighting. We're not some lolwut group, we plan, we RP, we act according to our groups development.
I hope this lets you see things from a different view/clarifies some of the rules for you.
Keeping others view on game-play IS important to me, so I will search/work on ways to make interaction better in the future. As always, cheers.

Your damn merc's have been shooting Council allies with your Gallic tech since you got it. By rights, you should have lost it the moment you opened fire on a Colonial Vessel.

I said Gallic tech, and honestly, what matters is the people doing the shooting, not with what theyre shooting with.
You were given tech by a faction, told to honor an agreement for it, and then broke that agreement - and now refuse to honor the consequences of breaking that agreement. This means, that your untrustworthy with tech, and most likely wont be given any, by anyone else.

When I got there I only saw the BS you're talking about dock. I didn't even had time to drop out of cruise and fire a snac when I was 10 gunboats shooting me. That was not fun. It's true, everybody ganks. I gank when the other side deserves it but that was simply too much. My point was that a GB swarm that large only brings fun to you guys and is as bad as seeing 10 Ranseur's over Crete. I don't really wanna talk to much about it because that sort of things happen in game every day.

I never said you are scamming anyone. The fact that you fight to keep using tech from a faction that doesn't want you do do it is, in my opinion, shameful and lacking fair-play.
Pancake removed your tech because he probably saw in you the same thing I did: a bunch of people with no regard for RP and not worthy to use their tech.

Both Reavers and Mandalorians play for cash too but they both know where to draw the line. You do not and you are no different from any other merc/fl who jumps into a fight with no respect for the ones already involved.

A thing I forgot earlier is your naming convention which is non-existant. I can understand how that helps you but I see that as a lack of fair-play. People who interact with you and your boys need to know who they are talking to. If you wish to be recognized as a group and not as "some lolwut group" you'll need to do some renames.

Here is where you are thinking that losing our tech was part of some agreement, which it wasn't. Saying that we suddenly lost our tech is OORP on the Council's side. I am more than willing to accept a consequence within Role Play.
Anyone can say on the forums "Boom your ship is dead, I planted a bomb in it and you just didn't know." But no one will go with that. Same with a tech deal that DID NOT involve some sort of tech rigging, until the opposing faction decided they suddenly wanted it.
After speaking over with the leader of the Council faction, though, they are willing to RP with us and deal with the whole thing. How it will turn out? I don't know. The thing is, they can't suddenly have mystical control over the tech they already gave us. Which was acknowledged by the Council after speaking with their leader on Skype after all this stuff went kablewey.

The 5/6* GB's that were there are there to take on groups of 2/3 Battleships assisted by 1/2 Cruisers and 1/2 GBs and a swarm of Snubs. Next time maybe don't cruise into a swarm of enemies? I apologize for the gank you flew into. Trust me, those GB's we have are up against some pretty though odd's over there. But the hits come in waves, catching us while we're either in one of those lul's is probably pretty upsetting, I'll take this into consideration...[/quote]

Does our original request really have that much lacking in RP? I look at it and it seems rather well thought out, well laid out, and well executed. I hold Role Play in very high regard, using it and understanding it is what gains benefits within the game, and externally.

I haven't yet had my first Disco day... I did at the time what I thought was perfectly fine, I had characters (the Sinners) who already existed, pose as Gallic civilians (in junker ships) and lie in wait for the OSI. Like I said, WHAT MYSELF AND A FEW OF MY MEMBERS WAS NOT OK, WE WILL/HAVE FIXED THAT. I cannot change what happened almost a month ago. It is in the past. I have however learned from it. I'm not sure why this is still being brought up...

Yesterday we did have quite the fleet out in mass. But that was to handle the group we were tackling. We don't sit and wait there for more to pop up, we head back and regroup normally before we go back in. I am sorry you came in on the end of a schirmish. You should have just turned and ran when you saw us all I suppose. I would have.

I would like to point out, the day we made the 100million on Corsairs, the first hit (earning us 83 million in 1 hour) was made by only 3 of our GB's and 1 bomber. There was 4 of us in total, WE WERE GETTING GANKED. (at one time a OC bs came and helped us kill 2 of the 4 BS's that day in theta, but other then that it was us).
We try to keep things fare, it's not like we outnumbered the Corsairs that day, we literally had to fight 2 BS a Cruiser 2 GBs and like 3 snubs all at once, just us 4. We worked hard and got out lucky.

This has been discussed a million times in our chat. I am STRONGLY considering having all our Merc throw on the Sinner tag. Perhaps it will help negate alot of this negative feedback.
KNOW THIS. I am, listening and considering everything you say, as well as everyone else. I may have my rebuttals, but what you say is still going to influence how we operate. Because, no matter what our excuse, if we are still perceived in a negative light, we need to change that perception.
I wouldn't have cruised into a group of 10 (not 4-6) gunboats if I knew you were enemies. No tag, neutral 'sair rep and no words, just plasma coming my way.
Anyone can make a cool looking tech request, that's not relevant.
I'm glad you fixed your spying methods.
You're "selling your soul" for 100 milion credits? Divide by 10 people and it's not really that much. You can make that in less time by trading.
Everybody ganks. The trick is to know were to draw the line between what most people consider a gank (3 or 4 to 1 ratios) and 10 GB's against a bomber. However, I would appreciate is we'd stop talking about this because it's not that relevant.
My final advices/recommendations:
- put a tag on your ships
- stop flying GB swarms or you'll end up like the EDGE
- fix your rep sheet. This one is actually very important. If you hunt 'sairs make them red and don't wait for a FR5. Be fair-play
- stop using OORP tech and out-of-ZOI tech. Don't hide behind rules, if it's not forbidden doesn't mean its fair and fun for the others. Use common sense
- stop causing troubles to the Zoners by using their bases as staging points or you'll have their blood on your hands:P
