It says they are "considering". If the do sell it with an LCS, it will be in a separate box. Which is good, because LCS cooling systems are utterly hopeless and loud, so I could sell as brand new as an "un-sealed" item. Air coolers still do a better job in my opinion. (not stock ones obviously) Not sure about the new duel radiator models though.
I will be investing in the Noctua if the chip is decent enough to warrant me sticking with AMD and not making the switch to Intel's 2600K.
:)

That could be a good move for AMD, because intel just gives you a craptacular aircooler...but then again who doesnt swap out the junky aircooler for a nicer aftermarket cooler(or liquid system).
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.

Stock AMD coolers are light years better than Intel's stock cooler they provide. Lower end self contained liquid cooling solutions still cannot out-perform a good after-market air cooler. Again, not sure about the duel radiator models on the market though. Even so, this looks to be a cheapo LCS. I also find after market air coolers to be more reliable. Not only because you don't have to worry about leaks, but because a high end air cooler will run well passively without the need for fans, which means if those fans run out of their 10,000 hours...You have some time before you realize you need new ones!

Totally disappointed. I am just as seriously, if not more seriously looking at the 2600K just as before. The only thing holding me back is the whole price difference. If I can save 1000 bucks and get relative performance in the specific applications that I use when compared to a 2600K, it is still worth it for me. Single threaded application results make me cry though:(
Water units look like they will be restricted to Asia for now. I will still be equipping mine with a decent air cooler if I happen to buy an AMD-FX 8150. I am not going to be waiting for the so called "improvement" on bulldozer. They have disappointed me enough this time round!

Yea was waiting on seeing the results too...I've gotta get a new rig at the end of this year anyway.
I'm not going to make a solid decision until then and perhaps it may be better to wait on Ivy Bridge or the 2700K.
I'll see how the other reviews go but I was originally looking at the FX 8150 as a good performance/cost CPU for my future rig.
Ah well....unless they have a good bundle deal with the Asus Crosshair V (as from the press kits). I'll probably go with Intel...:(
That is a dissapointment.
Although would still love to see the FX quad core and 6 core model performance numbers compared to Phenom II line and similar priced Intel.
We may have another Phenom II X2 thing on our hands. With hidden unlockable cores on the cheap:D
