I take it you are doing well, herr Summers? Since the incidents of the terrible skirmishes between the house of Rheinland and the House of Bretonia threatened the very existence of your Freeport, i'm glad to see that, according to the papers I am holding, you are still quite alive and breathing. This is good news. I hope that you will receive this message in good will and spirit, and that we here at the Buro toast to your long-life and well-exercised authority over Freeport 1 and its inhabitants.
Now onto business. As you know, the situation in the Omegas can be a tense one at times. Our agents report that you have had several stand-offs with the Coalition and we suspect that other rival factions may also be knocking at your doorstep, as is the usual case for a Freeport. We suspect that us contacting you at this odd hour is most likely something that you did not expect. The Buro would like to strengthen its, and in effect, Rheinland's, ties with our good friends at Freeport 1.
With your permission, I would like to use your base as a point of resupply along with a place where we can exchange information. We know the trouble that the teadri... the Bretonians give you at times, and we wish only the best for your continued Independence from their heavy hand. As such, we request your permission to base several Agents from your Freeport. Now, you would not know who exactly our agents would be, but know in good faith that your friends in Rheinland are looking out for your well-being as well as the lives of those on board your station.

You probably know, Rheinland has an embassy on Freeport 1, back in the Omega War, when we were trying to salvage this...awful mess. I still consider Rheinland one of my closest allies...House wise. After all, what we all need in these days is some good friends.
Yes, you've heard right. The Coalition is getting pushy over there ability to kill anyone they want, anywhere they want, even if that's on my front porch. And guess what? I tend to get irritated by this - so I've started shooting them back - done a pretty good job too. Killed two of there destroyers, and the pieces of which are sitting in McCool's, next to an armor slat from the LNS-Walker, and a chunk of hull from the RNC-Pommern.
Ya see, I have this idea. It's a crazy one. I actually want my station to be safe. Ya know? Safe? where folks can come with there ships, not have to worry about a'holes with guns trying to rob them or kill them? Such a crazy idea, in these modern times. wacky huh?
Well, I'm just as crazy a long with it, since I'm willing to die to make my station safe, and its people safe.
Ya see - I aint a zoner. Not anymore. what the word "Zoner" means in this day and age doesnt apply to me anymore. I dont bend knee, and I dont kiss butt. I follow my dreams, and keep my promises. I fight for my friends, and I defend the people who count on me. And no matter what, I dont give up.
Your more then welcome to base on FP1. And if anyone gives you trouble, feel free to "enforce" the NFZ if you need too - after all, I never asked for people NOT to defend themselves.
As for The Coalition. If they give you problems - shoot them. Remind them there's an NFZ in place, then tell them to get lost. If they shoot at you, then im sure you can figure out what to do.
Bring some schnapps for McCools, and you got yourself a deal.
The Buro is happy to see that the alliance between Freeport 1 and Rheinland is still very much secure. We are thankful that you will allow our operations to base off of Freeport 1.
Now then, we do not expect this wonderful show of friendship to go one-sided. Is there anything that you may need help with or perhaps a favor that we may return to you?
