I know the permission for having different IDs with ships are gone and the wrong ID makes you have less energy. But what about a zoner whales? it has no turrets so you dont have to worry about it. But is it allowed rule wise? and if not, why? all the other ships dont apply in this matter.
Because the Zoner Whale's infocard states "May only be used with a Zoner ID", Zoner IDed players are currently the only ones who are allowed to use this ship. The Z-Whale seems to be an exception to the new idea of "everything's open use". If you're not a Zoner, you can't fly their Whale.

It's a 5K transport with a countermeasure slot. I'm also told that it's very agile for its size. It is, and always has been, a somewhat special transport. It would seem that pairing the Whale with the Zoner ID is a form of balance. You get the amazing whale, with its CMs and faster turning speed, but you also have to take the restrictive Zoner ID with it, keeping you from docking your 5K transport in certain locations. It kind of evens out.
That and it is very....very....sexy. And it is hard to CD from behind.
