Question is above. Today I was fleeing from an annoying BH (had a short fight), and finally left him behind. Some time later he told me //that I may not return to the system where fight took place. I stress that I didn't dock at any base (rule 5.6). So, opinions?
And another one. If I was killed in system 1, went to system 2 (10 min), was killed there, and respawn in system 1 (4h have not passed), what should I do? People told me to leave it again, am I allowed to show up in space here?
At first you are allowed to flee from combat and even rearm yourself if the other cannot see that. Only in case you got killed or if you docked in sight of the attacking player then it's a PvP death.
To your second case. If you get shot in system 2 and respawn in system 1 you have ten minutes to leave it again. But because I cannot quote the rules I am not entirely sure. Try this here.
[color=#FFFFFF]About the first one. If you hadn't docked to any stations planets it is perfectly fine to cruise away leave the system and return, provided you have not died in the past 4 hours. You can even jump to another system dock refill and then return provided there are no enemies/players in radar range.
About 2. Log off, go to system 3 or log on a char on the other side of Sirius
Don't forget you can always ask the party that killed you if you can return to / remain in the system after death.
At the end of the day they're the ones that'll report you for it. And if they're fine with you staying (Not attacking them obviously) then you can stay.
This mainly applies to when allies accidently kill you but it can take effect if the enemy(s) who killed you are happy for you to stay.

Didn't know that, thanks. I wonder why aren't things like this in the server rules?
And Hielor's post: it isn't in the rules too. The rule about "no-enter-teh-system-with-any-character-after-death" has no exceptions about traders.

Wait, if someone sees you jump to another system, then you can't reengage? That's what some SCRA guy told me when he chased my Corsair to the Omicron-91 jump hole, but then I asked some guys on Skype and they said that only green docking messages (docking at bases only) and blue death messages count as actual deaths.
Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits

Actually, if an ally accidently kills you, he/she is not the one that should allow you to stay in the system.
It doesn't matter who kills you or how you die, you always have to ask the people you were fighting against, your enemies.

That SCRA guy was completely wrong. As they told you in skype, those docking messages and those death messages are the ones which count for pvp death.

Quote:5.7 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not enter the system where the fight took place with any of the characters on his/her account(s) until four hours have passed from the time of his/her destruction.
If the player respawns in the same system, he/she must leave the system within 10 minutes of his destruction without attacking anyone, except in self-defense. Other players are not allowed to attack one who is leaving.
Transports/Freighters/Liners which have been killed in a PvP fight may return to the system in which they were destroyed but only for purposes of moving through the system or for trade within that system. They may only act in a purely defensive manner. This exemption applies only to players who are in the system for the purposes of trading and does not apply to mining, piracy or any other activity.
Well, you are right, it doesn't say that you can re-enter the system with a trader. It says that if you were destroyed on your trader you can re-enter for the purpose of moving through the system or for trade within that system.
But believe me, it's allowed. If the same trader is allowed to re-enter a system, switching from any other character to your trader to re-enter a system doesn't make any difference.
No one would report you for that, and even if they do... you wouldn't get sanctioned.
