imagine im a navy(in GB-fighter-bomber) and i hunted a nomad and it is in my cargo. Then 2 class 3 defenders ask me to drop nomads or they will shoot me. Isnt it strange? That i dock and decline their request and they ignore me?
So please remove this atleast for any navy fighters-bombers-Gunboats. About navy transports, dont!
Say...... how about a STAR TREK "World" in Discovery? This would be absolutely Great!
Imagine that we would have Ships like Voyager, Enterprise, Defiant, the Shuttles, Maquie-Ships, Klingons, Warbirds and and and.... would it be a great thing??? :yahoo:
We have Battlestar Galactica things at Discovery, so why not also Star Trek? Like the WTS 2.0 mod or something like similar.

No. Because we have our own universe, and are trying to move AWAY from borrowed ideas and models, not integrate an entire new shipline (especially one from a series as well-known as star trek) into our mod. The battlestar was discontinued for a reason.
This is more of a Technical suggestion than a game suggesting but could you add generic joystick handling? things such as speed control for throttle level, movement on axis blah blah blah, and binding jotstick buttons
also, /friends /friends add <name> etc its really hard to know when a friend is online or not

It makes no sense for Munitions to be produced only by Gallic factions. All houses need munitions, especially now, that player bases can be created. The Defense Platforms need munitions in order to be built, so it is only natural to spread this commodity across the whole sector.
So, I've heard that 4.87 development will be starting soon, which is great, and I've also heard rumors from the "dev's log" thread that suggests that Gallia will be getting resized to be smaller overall, and many guard systems will be gettings changed and possibly removed, reducing the amount of empty space within the mod. I enjoy this idea, but I would suggest that the dev team engage in perhaps an even more ambitious plan to lower the total system count by about 70%, possibly more. My thinking behind this is that a more densly packed universe will lead to more server population density, more density will lead to more interactions between players, and more interactions will lead to more fun. Removing guard systems entirly, removing 'transit' systems, utilizing system corners, and the useage of stellar obsticals to seperate parts of a system from others are a few of the something like this could be acheived. If the dev team is looking for specific suggestions of systems that should be remodeled/ bases that should be moved, I would be happy to oblidge. Overall, I am looking forward to the new developments, whatever turn they take.
well i dont know how possible this idea is but it always interested me.
Is it possible to make it so player bases can build trade lanes like the same way they would make defence platforms? because they already have the resources need to build lanes (gate/lane parts)
How about renaming the Connecticut system to "Arena" and the /conn command to /arena.
Or to "simulator" and making it an IRP virtual world spaceflight simulator. You know, like the simulator that you could play in Wing Commander I in the bar of the Tiger's Claw.
Online/offline notifications. BUT.....set in a bolder print. The player can set a list up of players, or a faction tag, and get 'alerted' about them. For faction members, its convienient to know when one of your own is online. For bounty hunters........good to know when your target is online, or even offline. It narrows down the legnthy default list, and could definately prove useful for players
