Ensign Aiko:*looks at the two agents with a slightly concerned expression* I'm sorry, sir, I am not informed of the details of the meeting, I was only instructed to guide you there... and here we are. *gestures towards an office wing with Corona labels on the doors* The meeting is taking place in commander O'Neal's office. *the young ensign salutes and leaves*

O'NEAL'S OFFICE
Cpt.Gaiman:*ponders for some seconds* I see; that's a... bold move you're proposing here. *turns to his security officer* Balavi? What do you think? Lt.Shenoy: I see many potential issues that could arise; we would either need accurate informations on the Navy transport's escort forces, or be sure to stage an overwhelming force for the façade strike. Moving a large number of vessels to Ames could require some time, and I do not believe that commander O'Neal mentioned any prediction on the moment the Navy transport will decide to show up and graciously knock our doors. Still... it can be done.
To prevent the risk of the transport staging a problematic amount of escort vessels, Corona would probably need to ease any concern on the libertonian side by pretending to fully cooperate on the meeting, and meet any of their requests on the conditions; mentioning a possible restitution of the flagship could persuade the Navy that you are willing to submit to them on all fronts, and lower their guard level. Cpt.Gaiman:*nods* That could work, but of course we'll leave that part of the plan at the discretion of Corona. For the composition of the two teams, I believe the façade strike should be composed mostly by snubcrafts, that would be able to easily distract any undesired pursuers of the transport, while the transport itself should be faced by something heavier, like a gunboat with some support, to be sure to perform that part of the plan too fast to allow the Navy to interfere. I wouldn't risk bringing here any bigger ship, it could cause unnecessary complications. *pauses for a second, then turns to the Corona officers* Please, be sure that mister Drum will be held in a properly shielded containment unit, we wouldn't want to risk damaging him or the containment during the rather turbulent recovery process. We can plant some charges on the hull of the BWT; they would be weak explosives but with a phosphorous load, thus ensuring a nice firework as proof of a "sabotage" from our side. The charges can be set up to explode as soon as the BWT reaches top cruise speed, then all you'd need to do is to perform an engine kill at that exact moment, and blame the damage from the explosion for being unable to decrease your speed. *smiles lightly* Do you have any specific plans regarding the Navy transport? I would be inclined to let them retreat if possible, we should try to avoid any unnecessary deaths. Oh, and about that other... request... I am afraid I cannot personally negotiate the release of an Osiris class battleship; I'm sure you will understand. There will be enough time to properly handle such a matter after this more pressing issue has been resolved.
"Glad you could make it Mister Lennox. And... Another Cerberus Agent? I must say this room is getting a little crowded, are all of your people here neccacary Captain?"
Shifting her attention to Gaimen she frowns, lightly, not quite annoyed but clearly not entirely happy.

As he enters the room, he nods at Scarlet and throws a smile towards her. He steps in silent to avoid distraction by himself, listening to what's happening in the room. He moves to her and as he stands next to Scarlet he speaks low.
"You called for me...I brought some...very nice cargo here that should help..."
He focusses back on the conversation, trying to get the point to make it possible he could say something helpful, too if it's needed.
Well, Captain, I don't thnk we should harm the navy transport too. I was also thinking that the real transfer of mister Drum should be taken care of at other time. We just need to have a fridge coffin - as I call it - filled with some human and nomad tissues. I don't think it'd be a problem.
He takes a quick glance at lieutenant Shenoy.
But lieutenant here is right. The military part of this operation would be the hardest. I'd love it if we didn't have to kill any LN pilots nor loose any of ours. To assure minimal enemy force, we could send some of our fighters to meet the transport earlier and relieve LN escorts.
"The plan is born of nesceccity. We either pull it off or hand Drum back to them. It has risks but no more than any other military action and, considering the Liberty Ships will be far from expecting, I doubt more than a pair of escorts will be present. Keeping these ships occupied will be relatively easy, most especially considering your organisations use of drones, if I recall correctly you have several? If all goes well, and it all will go well, your drones, or even your manned ships can make a show of shooting out a trade lane or two, and chasing the transport off. I would like to know however, do you have the use of any capital vessels?"
[22:29:00 | Edited 22:29:52] Corey (Gheis): Just because I'm an admin doesn't mean I can't appreciate an attractive woman.
Cpt.Gaiman:*nods* Yes, we have a capital fleet, although we mostly use them in the Omicrons and Omegas. *glances at Neumann for a second* If Lieutenant Neumann is here, it probably means that his recon cruiser, the Wanderer, is somewhere nearby, am I correct, Mark? By the way, your presence here was not required, I want to see you in my office on the Reunion when we're done here. *turns again to the admiral* We can make use of the Wanderer, should the need arise; about our drones, they would be hardly of any use in the present situation, as their armament is minimal; they were never meant to perform in combat. We will use our snubcrafts, that won't be a problem, we've been sneaking them through Liberty space for quite some time. *looks at O'Neal* And I agree, might be worth trying to offer an escort relief, although I doubt they will accept. I sincerely hope that no bloodshed at all will be needed; Cerberus protects human lives, it is our point of honor to not use our weapons on any fellow human unless absolutely unavoidable.
"The drones minimal armaments would not be a hinderance, destroying the target is not our objective, and I doubt there are many pilots who would keep track of a transport when they neither think it's the objective and whilst being targeted by any kind of armament. I asked about a Capital vessel so the Liberty Forces don't decide following would be a good idea. The Cruiser can pick up 'Drum' and destroy our transport, before heading away with impunity"
[22:29:00 | Edited 22:29:52] Corey (Gheis): Just because I'm an admin doesn't mean I can't appreciate an attractive woman.
Lennox rubs his chin, thinking about another possibility to jump into the conversation. He is thinking about the possibility of less aggression to 'confuse' the Navy with electronical devices and jamming fields.
"What about electronical...'warfare'? We simply could create decoys at their scanners that they would have to abort their flight or to dodge the signals on the scanners. We could then, with jamming their sensors heavily approach very close and take out the escorts almost quitely. A quick infiltration of the transport should give the wished effect, too and would prevent emergency calls and unnecessary deaths...if that would be preventable.
If the convoy really would change the course we could exactly do that...just as alternative if other tactics would fail..."
