Had to answer a distress call coming from Secondary Fleet patrols near the orbit of Manhattan. They requested heavy artillery so once again I got into the bridge of Cloverfield and cruised at full speed towards the coordinates I was sent. The heavy artillery proved to be necessary since... well, a Spyglass battleship was literally parked next to a Liner -which was blown up later, ouch-. Anyway, the Cerberus turrets of the Cloverfield managed to scratch the hull of the hostile battleship until it activated it's cruise engines and set course to Rochester. Yeah, Rochester.

An innocent routine visit to Omicron Minor during the chase of the randomness of the Order pilots turned into an attempt to boot me and Captain Ashfield out while we were doing our best in collecting the last scans from everything around. Vice Admiral Defmir and Admiral Hale had appeared on scene and saved the day. I'm making a note here, huge success: our opponents lost a Light Carrier and a fighter and our wing returned to Missouri in no time.
Later an transport hauling a share of artifacts was stopped in one of the debris fields thanks to a Mandalorian. Another pilot acting like he was bringing souvenirs for his beautiful wife and adorable daughter. It cost him time, nerves and a fine. Crates had been delivered to temporary storehouse at Manhattan for an expertise.

There is something unfortunate in the terrible lack of effective diplomatic tools to be used against stubbornness of the Order operatives. In the last 20 hours there were two incidents involving them, both ended with no losses on our side, the methods used should be noted and qualified.
First encounter was a part of an operation with a goal to provide a safe corridor for the Gold Wing operative in Alaska system. The Order forces lost one ship and retreated. I assume that due to the involvement of the Gold Wing, the details are considerably classified. The second Order operative was collecting data in the Zone 21 proximity. Once again I listened to the hackneyed speech about the importance of the Order operations in Liberty for the future of humanity. Probably they do even believe in that.

About an hour ago I started my patrol in New York. Surprisingly, there was not a single pirate or smuggler around at the lanes from Manhattan > West Point > Norfolk >Fort Bush > Pittsburg > Fort Bush > Colorado Gate > Fort Bush > Norfolk > Texas Gate > Norfolk > West Point > California Gate.
I jumped over to Cali, just to encounter the same amount of pirates there. New York Gate > Mojave > Los Angeles > Cortez Gate > Ontario Gate > Cortez Gate > Los Angeles > Magellan Gate > Cali. Minor > Mojave > New York Gate.
I moved towards Texas and, suprise, nobody was around there first. I patrolled the system up to the Hudson Jump Gate, where I encountered a Samura Transport, fortunately not breaking the embargo.
In Hudson the situation was the same, no activity.
I decided to move into Hamburg system and check the situation at the Westfalen. And there really was a Rheinland Gunboat, alone without backup. The RNC-Nordsee, it retreated after seeing me on it's scanners.
A rather quiet patrol, so I decided to end at that point.

Good evening, Admiral.
I happened to come across a pilot of the infamous Soaring Ducks squadron. This particular individual was openly firing at a secondary fleet pilot of the Navy.
I tried shedding some light into the scenery, tried making out the cause of this kindergarten, but got nothing but even more unacceptable behaviour from the pilot, called Jason Launders.
If necessary, I can provide logged files of the conversation, but he clearly asked me to talk to you about the situation, since "you are able to explain", he said.

Hale here.
Launders isn't a name I've heard in a long time, and I can't think of any reason I'd know what he was up to with regards to shooting a secondary fleet pilot. Maybe the logs would be enlightening.
I have my doubts that I'd know what he was up to, even if I did receive the logs, but you're more than welcome to send them in my direction.

On another patrol earlier in the day I encountered a group of pirates I already saw a few days ago.
These pirates, name tagged Ghost~of~FirstName.LastName/Nickname seem to be operating all over Liberty and are growing in size. From what I saw lately, they seem to be flying Bombers and Fighters, Civilian and Borderworlds Design.
Also, those pirates are only seen in Groups of two or bigger and they are more and more frequently attacking larger Navy ships. However, when encountered by snubcraft, they tend to be cautious and mostly draw back to a nearby base or into Bretonian space.
I suggest paying a lot more attention to these folks, since they interrupt commercial traffic, rob, extort and destroy trading ships on many occasions, besides targeting Navy Capitals here and there.
I was able to collect very little evidence of their pirate-dom, by scanning one of their ships during a chase:

Liberty Forces; especially LPI,
Earlier, there has been a report of someone impersonating an LPI officer and sending a distress signal to lure them into a trap. The original report can be found at the following link:
In the interest of national security I ask that the LPI please look into the matter. If you need assistance, the door to my office is open to you.
To everyone else, be very cautious when responding to distress calls. It is very unfortunate that it has come down to this but we must remain vigilant in our efforts to ensure that Liberty is safe for everyone that dwell within it's boarders.

The following material is the summary of the considerably important information regarding last patrol and (or) reconnaissance assignments. It would as brief as possible given that no generally important information was collected during that definite period of time.
First of all, I had updated the signature on the Colony Ship under Zoner affiliation that had opened fire on our wing in Omicron Minor. We hadn't yet identified what line of the data collected was the reason of such an outcome, but that operation appeared to be dangerous, not to say deadly, when two Osiris class Battleships, a Light Carrier and the assorted snubcraft were sent against our small wing of fighters and a single bomber. We managed to make it away from there, no pilots had been lost, yet the ship of a secondary fleet officer had suffered a catastrophic decompression. During that operation the Dreadnought controlling the perimeter was also lost heavily damaged; let me put a reminder here: the whole situation was unexpected, we took all the means to reduce the losses.
The pirate transport bearing the Ghost~of identification was stopped in meters from the Rochester docking points. Junkers hadn't yet voiced the official complaint regarding the incident, yet I doubt it would happen at all.
Finally, a group of Liberty Rogues and Maltese had been intercepted and destroyed deep in Badlands. This fortunate occasion hadn't provided us with anything but stars on our wings. Their location, their methods of operations were as usual as they could be.
