Why would it? FIST is not IC, it's independent faction. If it will harm relations with IC it means that FIST are part of IC ooRPly too, and thus circumvention the ID rule. Unless I am getting it all wrong?

You are getting it wrong. It's roleplay. Two different factions have a tie in RP. Therefore if you attack one the consequences might stretch further.
If you attack Bretonian ship (ie. Bowex) can it harm your relation with BAF, BPA? I bet it can.

If you'd look over rosters, you'd see that there are no players in both factions, besides me.

That pretty much shows that they are seperate factions.

But as I said, they are connected inRP only.
