I don't really want to get into a game of one post, but you do realize how silly it sounds to consider that Interspace Commerce, let alone the man tailoring himself as the big guy, is trying to generate "additional funds" with a mercenary group which likely wont ever be larger than a military fighter wing.
I mean. If three men can conjure money to impress IC as mercs I don't even want to consider the real financial impact of a little group like the Reavers.
That being said. If you're looking for more "corporate" rp you're going to be very hard pressed to find it using a group of subsidiary mercs hunting Mollies in Dublin rather than, you know, your corporation.

inRP FIST and IC are related (Like Samura and Hogosha for example), how ever FIST and IC| (the official faction) have no relation to FIST more than the general NPC faction. (Am I correct to this point?)
Anyway, I find that "Special Offer" to be a blanket bounty for several reasons. First, what I see there is a demand to be affiliated with a certain faction temporary (FIST for this matter) in order to kill -3- blood dragons. Any. This means it is a Blanket Bounty with an ending pool.
So by going through that FIST and IC| (the official faction) have -no- relation one anther (more than the NPC relation) you can't list it as part of IC| bounty (and their right to have a blanket bounty). Something is broken in here.

Arthur's (imo) brilliant idea of making IC "own" a smaller business is basically an experiment to see how far corporate RP can go in Discovery. As he said himself, there are too many independent merc factions. Having a large, rich corporation buy up / open up a smaller faction with a totally different goal is perfectly sensible RP, since the larger faction wants to make money. Duh.

For the first part, exactly. inRP, that is connected a lot. ooRPly, no relation besides me being leader, and using same funds. Fist & Co will actually make money for IC| . It is investment with hopes to pay off. (My claims will go to shared funds, so.... I am not stealing/laundering. I am working my butt off to earn more of it, you inconsiderate bastards)
For the second, Fist & Co recieved assignment to shoot down 3 BDs. I just wished to pay bonuses for it to happen faster. But since we got contract in Taus, it does not matter anymore much. I will close it down tomorrow, when I get my well deserved beer and drink it till I get wasted.

Alright, this settles this down. However I actually expected them to be more like corporate thugs, rather than a small merc company hunting all over the place - this would add a nice dimension of RP.

I'm trying to like this idea but it ain't happening just yet, the thing I don't get is the rp reason why Interspace Commerce, one of the big three Liberty companies with an annual turnover that would run into tens perhaps hundreds of billions of credits would set up a relatively tiny wing of fighters as a revenue stream. I've heard a lot in this thread about the rp validity of Fist but there isn't any background from IC as to why they started this "subsidiary"
Also, if Fist is going to carry the Interspace IFF won't this rebound on independent players with IC tagged ships getting ganked by vengeful pirates who have been done over by Fist and then go after players who had nothing to do with it?

You are comparing NPC with Player Faction here. I hope to make Fist & Co huge group, which actually yields profits to IC|.
As for the second part. So be it. That is roleplay. Something more dynamic than... Anything else I suppose, cannot be so hurting from time to time.
