As we are on a BS thread I though i just ask the question here rather than opening a new one : would i be able to mount a BS scanner on a lux liner, a slave liner or a barge ? on anyting else than a batlle ship ?
May Abu d'Dhur, father of the immaterial roads, be favoralble to us and those that supports us.
Yea, the battleship scanner just represents one heck of a sensor suite. I have one on my Hegemon from my "got more money then I know what to do with because I just enjoy shooting rocks" days.
And I might have to change my opinion. 5x primaries, 1x mortar, and 6x secondaries might make quite an effective ship as well. Suppose it depends on your role - me, I tend to see snubs as the biggest threat. The primaries make you more effective against destroyers and gunboats.
Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.
Mostly retired Discovery member. May still visit from time to time.

I would add some missiles turrets against Destroyers and Gunboats in particular, just besides ouy can use them against snub targets, too (though it's not as effective against them like solaris or sec.)
4-5 cerbruss rest solaris will be fair if you are good.
Now im using 2 moreter 2 pulse rest basic primary
if you are encountering bomber and your opponent is good then it snac you and your solaris cant hit them(range too short). Only chance you have to hit them with primaries. I dont know about the damage & energy ratio with order primaries but basics are good from most of the primaries.
