Greetings, M. Garrison!
Last times show to Omicron Zoners, how a life here can become here like in hell.
Aggression of Corsairs. We were scared to lost not just our positions in Omicrons, but our lives.
After the open conflict We have started to strengthen our home, many things have been made, a new minefield is almost completed.
We are looking for any thing that may help to safe us from cannibals, it's the reason why I have talked to you.
Every Zoner frequently visiting Maltese Nation, as I, have heard about a place in your space where a Rheinland battleship has crashed. It's very interesting to me because this ship may help to protect us from Corsairs. I am sure, it's not in the best condition, but I think repairing it might be much cheaper than to construct a new battleship.
I've started collecting data about its exact location but I only found erroneous data and I'm beginning to think this wreckage is a legend... So because I believe you are the best person that would know more about it I'd like to request a information from you, M. Garrison: 'Do you have a wrecked Rheinland battleship in your space? And if so, would you allow me and some Omicroners technicians to look at it?'
Thank you very much for your attention,
Best regards,

Buenas dias, Senor Burton; Im quite curious where you heard this rumor. We do indeed have the wreckage of a former Rheinland battleship within our space but I wouldnt say it exactly CRASHED. More like it was shot to ribbons. It was formerly known as the Blitzkreig, stolen by GMG and destroyed in our space. I dont know what you could learn from it as it was retrofitted and then destroyed. Still, we may allow a survey team to look over the site, but with conditions. The wreckage is in a sensitive area of our space after all. And surveying it is quite different from us allowing a salvage team into our space. Give me specifics on what your requirements and intentions are and we will discuss it.

Good day!
M. Garrison, I'm glad to receive that message from you. Indeed, I've thought this lost battleship was one of those unbelievable legends.
We are currently loading freighter Series YX "Dromedary" with special short range scanning equipment to assess the condition inside of the ship.
Also, onboard some technicians and rescue team, for a more detailed examination, if the ship will be safe for people. As far we know, these old type battleships have problematic nuclear reactor, so we expect some radiation hazard around the wreckage.
I'd like to request the permission to enter Outcast restricted space in my “Dromedary” freighter, callsign (]o[)Raider as to reach the place where the wrecked battleship is located.
Thank you very much for your attention,
Best regards,

No Senor, it is true. Radiation levels are minimal around the wreckage so I dont think that will be a problem. If you wish to conduct research on this wreckage it is allowed with two conditions. One, you will ONLY enter this system under the guidance and guard of one of the 101st pilots; any violation of this rule will be met with lethal force. Two, you will disable all navigational and sensor recording systems EVERY time you access this system; this system is carefully guarded and we will condone no data gathering about the system under any circumstances. Of course your sensors can be reactivated at the wreck site, but only those needed. NO system scans.
Note however this is not an agreement to let you salvage, merely an agreement to let you do preliminary research.

Good day!
Senor Garrison, We accept your terms. We will bring no salvage gear to investigate the wreckage. However, we have a lot of equipments to bring and Dankien Moebus, one of the Omicroner Senior, would like to assist me with a second science vessel: the (]o[)Hermes Luxury Yacht ship in order to conduct a full scan of the wreckage. We are ready to leave for space. We could meet the 101st pilots that will escort us in orbit of Planet Malta or at the place of your choice. Just let us know about it.
I've made a change regarding my participation. I turned it into a scientific support instead of an escort. Anyway, when will be in Malta we don't risk anything.
Thank you very much for your attention,
Best regards,

Si, Senor Moebus may accompany you but thats all. We arent running a tourism agency. And I dont have to be the pilot that escorts you; any Ghost will do. Just contact one of us in space.

Buenos Dias, Senor Garrison!
Its was a honor to get escorted to Namura battleship wreckage and have a talk with you.
We've done data processing in a very short time. Seems, its was a really fruitful operation.
Data show to us this ship can be repaired. I won't to talk about technical details. Just say - It's an old type of battleship, so we will have to replace electronics and other systems and subsystems. But we are interesting in the hull and structure.
I'd like to discuss the details of hauling this wreckage to Livadia shipyard.
As it was discussed during our meeting, we would be ready to send haulers in omicron-eta to haul the Namura wreckage. We would be ready to send them up to omicron-85 if it is less trouble for you. However we know it may be a security problem since this system is more critical for you.
Also what would you like in exchange?
We would like to thank you again for your cooperation, that's why we are willing to share with you the full data collected during the scan:
Thank you very much for your attention,

Buenas dias. Apologies for things taking so long on this end but Gallic incursions have picked up and we've been a bit busy organizing suitable receptions.
We have decided to allow you to salvage the wreckage of the Namura in our space. Your salvage teams will be allowed access to Omicron 85 and quarters will be arranged on Bastia for the crews to use while operations are ongoing. If you require an escort to Livadia we will be glad to offer any assistance we can.
Of course there are restrictions. As per your last visit, all ships will have their navsystems disabled while in Omicron 85. Once you clear that system, you may power them up, of course. Also, any ships must be accompanied by a Ghost (101st member) while in said system. You know our security concerns, so this shouldnt come as a surprise. We also are interested in acquiring one of your Aquilon carrier class vessels. As the Ghosts are primarily a snub force we are intrigued by the possiblities of carrier capabilities. Whether it is armed is up to you; we are more interested in using the ship as a test bed and possibly the basis of a prototype if we find the concept useful.
Let us know if you find these conditions amenable.

Buenos Dias, Senor Garrison!
Thank you for your cooperation, we really appreciate it.
We accept your terms regarding the management of the operation. Our convoy is almost ready to leave for Omicron-85. I'll lead the convoy on my Dromedary, (]o[)Raider. The results of the scan (previously sent to you) shows there is the second power plant of the ship so, I'm interested to dock to the battleship wreckage in order to power it up. If is it still working, it may save some time, since wreckage is kinda heavy even for salvage gear. For that purpose the convoy will bring a combustible to the wreckage location (nuclear devices since it is an old battleship technology).
If it fails, we will need to transport the wreckage during approximately 4 days through the asteroids field of omicron-85 up to the omicron-alpha jumphole.
We plan to escort the salvage gear with our wing of destroyers up to the border of Maltese Nation, then only the salvage gear will enter the Outcast space.
Finally, we are surprised about your request of an Aquilon class carrier. Unfortunately we do not produce class of such ships, we even haven't the blueprints of it. It's the reason why we don't like too much this ship. BUT, we have one... Sealed and drifted around Planet Tirane. It must be unsealed and refitted (which may take a few weeks), but if you find it acceptable, we could make it and bring it to you. So let me know about it.
Thank you very much for your attention,
Best regards,

This is acceptable. If you have security concerns, we will allow your destroyers to enter our space. You will be escorted, after all. I know little about salvage operations so I will have to leave that expertise in your hands.
About the carrier. So long as it is in working condition, we have no problem using a mothballed vessel. Again, we arent looking to add it to the fleet as a frontline combat ship, but as a test bed for carrier technology. Let me know when the ship is under its own power and we can arrange to take possession.
