I was very surprised about the firepower, the bretonian battleship came up with. We can assume that battleship McDuff on planet harris got the same weapon upgrade.
Additionally the Derbys fighter escort were aware of our presence and there were a lot. I wonder how the bretonian cowards were able to rebuild their forces quickly.
Until i will get a new fighter i reported for duty on battleship Nagasaki.

Today i received my new Fighter. For testing purposes i decided to make a Deuterium run, because shortages of Deuterium on Battleship Nagasaki. The commander of the Nagaski gave me the permission for.
I was moving Tau 31 - Edinburgh - Dublin - Omaga 49 and the same way back.
The engines of my fighters are verry well adjusted. They were running with 105 %. Only manoeuver thrusters are in need of further adjustments.
On planet Gran Canaria an old friend of my grandfather was able to get me a Mini Razor, which was mounted immediately onto my Fighter.
I was reaching Kusari territory safely, with absolutely no enemy encounters on the whole run. The small load of Deuterium i could deliver will help a bit until the next supply convoy will arrive.
On the Nagasaki i got the order to bring a captured bretonian officer to Honshu immediatly. After arriving at New Tokio JG in Honshu, my scanners picked a Blood Dragon IFF, a VHF, which was coming closer. Soon it was identified as "Evil_The Badger". Despite the important passenger, i decided to engage this notorious terrorist.
He was using an unknown type of weapons, which raped my shields with one hit, when we had our first fly by. I was able to evade his fire to upload my shields again. I tried to use my minirazor, but had a malfunction after the fifth round (will be fixed now on planet Honshu). It was a nearly equal fight, but honestly i must say, his skills were better.
Fortunatly two Bounty Hunter Battlecruiser, "Nexxus" and "Vaxxor", arrived and turned the tide of this fight. Outgunned, the Blood Dragon fled into the Hiyo Cloud after a while.
I was paying the Bountyhunters 500K credits each and delivered the POW safly to the Military Secret Service on Planet Honshu.
My fighter had small damages on weapons, shield generator and some scratches on the new hull.
Note: I would prefer to get more combat training. Fortunately this skirmish was a good training for me at the end, but i will not be so lucky all the time, having such a mighty support from Bounty Hunters.
While in Kuyshu system I received reports of sightings of a strange ship that slipped in and out of radar range of Kusari bases around. I realized that it must be a Bretonian spy craft ... after a while I found the ship near Tsushima depot. It was of the civilian Arrow class with Bretonian markings.
The enemy was much more agile than my Chimaera which made targeting difficult, nevertheless I was able to destroy the ship along with the recorded data after a short fight. The destroyed craft didn't manage to send out any transmission.
After refueling and rearming my craft on the Nagumo, I flew to Tau31 system to inspect our troops facing the Bretonian enemy. When I entered the system I received a transmission from a Destroyer captain at the Leeds jump gate. He said a fight was going on nearby.
I flew at best speed to the jump gate and found 2 IMG (BSG) fighters fighting 1 Bretonian and 1 Blood Dragon fighter. I noticed that a new Bretonian fighter came and joined the fight just as I did. A furious battle started.
After a few minutes of fighting a Bretonian Battleships call sign [QCO] Pendragon appeared. Faced with this kind of firepower we retreated to the Nagasaki and waited for reinforcements. The Bretonians came and laid siege to the Nagasaki but they couldn't match her firepower.
The Bretonian Battleship retreated out of Nagasaki's gun range and started bombardment of the Holman outpost. This resulted in furious chatter on all frequencies some of which was intercepted by 2 Gaian ships that came to assist. Just as we were planning our next move under the cover of Nagasaki's guns a Corsair Dreadnought came out of the trade lane just behind the Bretonian Battleship.
We saw our opportunity and attacked the Bretonian BS with everything we had. That kind of firepower proved to much for the Pendragon's armor to cope with and her hull gave away:
During this fight the remaining Bretonian vessels and the Blood Dragon disappeared. I thanked the Corsair for help but instructed him to leave the area at once. Just as he was engaging his cruise engines 2 Bounty Hunter Battlecruisers disrupted him and destroyed the ship.
I thanked the Gaian and IMG vessels for help and landed to inspect damage on the Nagasaki. It looks like no major components were severely damaged, so it can continue its duty in protecting the area. Reports about the damage on the Holman outpost are first now starting to come in, but it appears that it can be repaired.

Part I
I've started my patrol on planet Honshu. On Osaka depot i met a Molly tagged "Spatial" exploration vessel, which was heading towards Planet Honshu. So i followed him. When he was leaving the planet again, i ordered him to leave Kusari space. He left Kusari towards Sigma 19.
I was holding my position. After a while he returned, accompanied by an Order tagged "Rogue Gunboat." The gunboats cargo was very suspect. My scanners could identify it as a kind of lifeforms only, but not exactly. Very strange. Haven't seen this before.
I was angry about this kind of disrespect to Kusari authorities, but i gave them another chance to leave Kusari with their cargo, what they did towards Sigma 13.
Part II
I continued my patrol and on Shinagawa station in New Tokio, my scanneres picked the IFF of the notorious GC terrorist Mariko Kietan. So i was attacking her immediately, but she was jamming my scanners and so her wingman could come closer unnoticed. In this hopeless situation i had only one chance. I engaged my cruise engines and was in hope they would follow me. This way i could lure them away from Shinagawa and trade lanes. I was familiar with the position of the Honshu JH and used it. They were still following me through. I was heading further to Hiroshima JH and made contact with battleship Sado in Hiroshima. So they'd been prepared to intercept both as soon as they follow me through the Hiroshima JH, what they did. In front of battleship Sado i made a turn and was meeting the enemy face to face with the help of our stationary defense systems and a trainee squadron. Those two GC pilots were showing great pilot skills and we were not able to defeat them. Somewhen the wingman of Mariko Kietan disappeared from my scanners, but i could not see any explosion or debris, so i thought he was leaving Hiroshima, because of some damage.
Finally Kietan stripped my shields with one of the mysterious weapons, i have seen on Blood Dragon fighters. My controls got a short circuit and unable for evasive manoeuvers, my fighter was colliding with a mine, dropped by her. With a last reflex i could eject my emergency capsule, which was tractored in immediately by the Sado. Nothing was happened to me and so i was taking another fighter to start and fight her again (ooc: not really, because of the reengagement rule). But there was no sign of her in Hiroshima and the captain of the Sado informed me, she was leaving back to Honshu. Unfortunatly she was able to destroy some of the trainee fighters and when i arrived at Honshu i could not pick any trace of her.
Part III
I started my patrol again, but had to make a break on Yukawa shipyard, because of a shock after the recent skirmish. On Yukawa i received a call by a BSG wing. They were telling me about a special arrangement between BSG and our high command, namely an overtaking of one of our new bombers. So i tried to contact the high command, but got a low ranking staff officer only. This officer was telling me, the high command is in a very important meeting and they would not want to be disturbed. Since our friendly terms to BSG it would be right, he was mentioning. Also this officer gave me the order to meet with the BSG ships outside of the Nagumo to be a witness of this overtaking. So i was heading to the Nagumo in Kyushu. On Shiniuko station i had the next terrorist encounter. The Blood Dragon Gunboat "Telicaster".
I was trying the same trick as i did with the GC wing, to lure this Gunboat towards the BSG wing to outgun the Blood Dragon. The Gunboat was following me til planet Kyushu and was giving up the chase for pirating traders. I met the BSG wing and we had the overtaking in a very short manner without a ceremony. Together we were heading back to planet Kyushu asap, but the Blood Dragon cowards were running and hiding. Later the long range scanners of the Matsumoto were locating the ship on its way back to Chugoku.
Part IV
My patrol was leading me to the Nagasaki in Tau 31. On Holman outpost i had a fighter class vessel, i was not familiar with. Scans identified it as "Nephtys" with IFF "20 sqnTenacity". First i forgot to make contact to ask for his intentions, because i was diverted by its unfamiliar design. As i tried to make contact, the ship opened fire and i started evasive manoeuvers. I noticed a second ship, launching from Holman, IFF "20 sqn Darkneon". Both were attacking me now, but i was able to evade their shots and to make severly damages to one of them. Soon they fled into the ice crystal field of Tau 31. I wanted to follow them, but my cruise engine was disrupted by a bretonian fighter strike force, attacking the Nagasaki. As soon as this strike force was neutralized i began to scan for the other two hostiles, but they were gone. Later our cloacked surveillance probes noticed their presence in Newcastle. With the help of the probes i could open a comm channel and informed the leader of the wing, they would be stated now as enemies of Kusari until they send an official letter with their appologies to the high command.
Part V
Right after these short skirmishes i received an "invitation" by BSG to join them, when visiting Bretonia. I finished the mission i got from the Nagasakis commander and followed the BSG. But this time i used the backdoor to Leeds, through Edinburgh to avoid another contact with the Derby. I was surprised about the weakness of Edinburgh and, please forgive me the overstepping of my rank, recommend to include the invasion of Edinburgh as a prime objective in further strategical plannings.
I was going from Edinburgh to Leeds andd noticed absolutely no defensive systems and stations around planet Leeds.
The BSG wing was already moving depper into the bretonian heartland and i decided to follow them to New London. In front of New London was a bitter fight. The BSG wing was fighting against bretonian police, military and a single BLS tagged fighter. I was engaging the police and military fighters first, but they were no challenge and soon destroyed. Then i joined the fight against this BLS fighter. He was close to become just a note in history, when a sudden ion storm disabled all vessels around New London. I felt in unconsciousness. When i was woken up 10 minuts later i found myself alone in New London. My fighter was drifting within an asteroid field and my scanners picked up the anomalies of another JH. I was jumping through and reached Dublin. So i set course to the Edinburgh JH to return to Tau 31. While on route i noticed anothr JH and my curiosity forced me to jump through and i was reaching an unknown system, so i started to explore this system for any strategical or tactical use in our war against Bretonia. (On the Nagasaki i compared the collected datas with the datas in stellar cartograhphy. It was the Chester system. Atm useless for the Kusari Navy.) Soon i discovered a bretonian fighter wreck, orbiting the single planet in the system. The fighter was bearing valuable equipment, including 3 class 9 fighter weapons. Right after i was able to load this equipment into my fighter, i got an alert signal and noticed the bretonian destroyer "William Halsey". I attacked him, while my scanners checked the ship. I was surprised once more. The bretonian destroyers also got an upgrade, bearing 9 turrets now and me would not wonder if the bretonian gunboats got an upgrade too. So i was breaking the fight and headed back to Dublin, Edinburgh and Tau 31. As i was comming closer to Holman outpost i was informed by the IMG an bretonian destroyer was arriving at Leeds JG. They must been able to place a tracking device on my ship in the short fight. There was only one chance. Using the old trick, i lured the destroyer in weapon range of battleship Nagasaki. Soon the shields of the destroyer were gone and their captain, without any chance against our formidable battleship, decided to retreat to Leeds. I was docking safely on the Nagasaki with two captured bretonian officers, a whole bunch of new datas and 3 of the best fighter weapons, Bretonia is comming up with.
Note Part I: It seems necessary to establish Gunboat patrols along our borders, because of the increasing activity of doubtful individuums, using more and more ships of gunboat size.
Note Part II: it is absolutely necessary to get some of those shield disrupters, used by Blood Dragons and GC, for further study. We must find a way to counter them.
Note Part IV: I recommend to set "20 sqn Tenacity" and "20 Sqn Darkneon" on the KOS list until they have appologized for their misbehavior and disrespect to Kusari authorities.
Note Part V: What shall be done with the taken bretonian class 9 weapons (2 adv. Splitter Tachyon guns and 1 Ultra Sunrail Particle gun. Especially the particle gun would be an advantage against the graviton shields, used by Blood Dragons and GC. Me also can hand them over to the engineers on battleship Nagasaki for further study.
How BLS tagged ships will be treated by KNF in the future? Because in the fight above Planet New London i was asked by the BLS pilot on which side i would stay. As far as i know, BLS (Blue Lotus Syndicate) is aligned to Outcasts and they are enemies of the Kusari state and treated that way.

Addendum of 1/O Flaggship Sado: Normaly i would recommend to bring ensign Toshi to a court martial, because of his misbehavior. Our trainee squadrons are not ready to face one of the most dangerous pilots of the GC and two of them died, because of their heavy wounds. Additionally two more are heavy wounded and out of duty for the next six months. We've lost seven valuable fighters and a lot of equipment, while the enemy suffered no losses. Additionally he seems to be unable in the use of communication channels to call for reeinforcements.
Unfortuantly we cannot afford to loose a further promising, but unexperienced officer. So i recommend a disciplinary punishment.
Addendum of CO battleship Nagasaki: Ensign Toshi had no permission to enter bretonian space, along with a BSG wing. Such kind of a muzzlehead is a bad example for all new pilots.
He has no disziplin. His luck was, to return from his raid with a lot of valuable informations.
As a disciplinary punishment i have taken his flight permission and the next days he is ordered to clean the reactor chambers of the Nagasaki. Exception only will be to counter an assault by bretonian forces and the QCP.

Yesterday i was released from my disziplinary punishment, because the Nagasaki had received reports, concerning the presence of a bretonian fighter pilot ace in Tau 31.
When i started, i got some messages of this pilot "Samantha Windsor", who was trying, unsuccessful, to offend me and the KNF. Finally i received a challenge by her.
This time i asked the Nakasakis commander for permission to give proove of the honour of the KNF.
I met her along the tradelane from Holman outpost to Leeds JG. It was a good and equal fight. She was using a "Hussar Light Fighter" and had the advantage of agility. My advantages were the better shield, armour and heavier weapon equipment.
While in dogfight, we must have flown in a kind of an anomalie, which separated and placed us in different locations of Tau 31. Nevertheless we had contact and soon restarted the fight. After a while a harder anomalie was hitting both ships with the same result, but this time we lost the contact. After reporting to the Nagasakis commander i started a routine patrol through Kusari, because of some pirate actvity, been reported.
I had no contact with pirates within my patrol and finished the patrol on Battleship Myoko in Shikoku.

A few days ago i had another routine patrol.
First enemy encounters i had on Holman Outpost and Battleship Nagasaki. A Blood Dragon Fighter (BLS Zapp), accompanied by an SF bretonian gunboat were attacking me immediately, when i was leaving Holman Outpost.
I made the tactical decision to lure both within range of our glorious battleship. The SF gunboat suffered heavy damages and was avoiding destruction, by leaving the scene towards Leeds. The BLS fighter was going out of range of the Nagasaki and i followed him. In the dogfight i was outmanoeuvered several times and soon had a shortage of bats and bots. So i returned to the Nagasaki to lure this BLS fighter ace within range once more.
The BLS pilot rcognized been outgunned and was retreating towards Tau 23. I docked on the Nagasaki and made my report, while engineers repaired the small damages and filled up bats and bots.
Soon i continued my patrol without enemy encounters. Finally i was moving right in front of New Tokio to scan traders for contraband.
Twenty minutes later, my scanners picked the IFF of the infamous Blood Dragon gunboat "Telicaster". It was comming closer very fast, using the trade lane from Shinjuku station to New Tokio. I prepared my fighter to attack this Blood Dragon vessel, to help the present traders to dock safely on the nearby Roppongi station and New Tokio.
With my single fighter i was in a hopeless situation against this well equipped gunboat and made a distress call for reinforcements and support. Soon 2 Kusari bombers of our brethren in mind (BD Society) "Haruto_Foo" and "Takata_Ran" were launching from the planet and together we were able to turn the tide of this fight. The "Telicasters" crew fought honourable for Blood Dragons, but this time they were in a hopeless situation.
The result was another great victory of Kusari against those pirates and terrorists. The {BD} bombers left the scene soon, but i promised them, their help will be not forgotten. I recommend to enforce the military support of our brethren.
I was demanding for repair ships to salvage the remnants and escapepods of the "Telicaster". Unfortunately the escapepod of the "Telicasters" commander, managed to flee and i've not found any traces. Maybe it was using a kind of a cloak device.
Later i have finished my patrol on the Nagumo without any further incidents.

subject: Special report about a new threat

Today i made a routine patrol and stopped on Sigma 13 JG (Honshu) to scan traders for contraband. A Mandalorian Merc, "Luc Mcloud", was comming closer and opened fire on me without warning.
I was completely surprised by his cowardly attack. I was able to evade his fire. To avoid destruction and to report this new threat i was retreating from the fight.
The dishonourable mercs have taken a contract to hunt down KNF officers. They have misused the neutral terms between us and them.
I strongly recommend to declare war to the Mandalorian Mercennaries until they do retreat from this contract.
They must learn, the life of their fellows isn't worth the bounty set on our heads. They will have to pay a price higher, than the stinky credits they earn from this doubtful contract.
For the safety of our shogun i recommend to fight them in Kusari where ever they show up. Additionally we must contact our brethren to fight them in the name of the shogun.
Death to all enemies of our glorious empire.
On my routine patrol today i scanned a Zoner "-L.L-BulgariA". He had a Smuggler ID and tried to smuggle Cardamine through Kusari space. I ordered him to leave Kusari Space and escorted him to Sigma 13 JG in Honshu. It was not my intention to make use of unneccessary violence until this will be sorted out with the Zoner council.
So i have sent a message about this incident to the Council of Zoners and begged them, to sort this out.
Additionally i have made clear, the next time, this Zoner smuggler will have to face the consequences, if he is trying again, to smuggle contraband, through Kusari territory.

"Today i witnessed the attack and destruction of several KNF capital ships in high orbit around Kyushu. This terrorist act was done by the individual Luc_McCloud, a member of the mercenary group "Mandalorians". I contacted a KNF officer immedietly and the incident was acknowledged. Since there was no bounty offered for the attack of this person, i left the battlefield as it was not in my intention to do any job for free or mess with the [M], as long as its not business.
But just so you know what happened to some of your officers - in case the KNF wonders, here is the explanation.

I was on my way through Honshu today, when long range communicators on Akita border station received messages from GMG Naha station in Sigma 13. They were surrounded and threatened by some Blood Dragon ships. So i reported my status to Akita and headed to Sigma 13 to recognize the situation.
My scanners picked 3 Nova PG, one LR and 1 GOG (GMG) IFF's a few klicks away from Naha station. I asked the GOG ship, a Transport (callsign relentless33) for its status and he answered, beeing attacked by Nova PG and the LR vessel. I was aware to be completely outnumbered.
Nevertheless i moved to the scene of combat and attacked the Nova PG immediately. Because of the overwhelming number of enemies, it was an unequal fight. I was able to stay for a long time, while another ship of Nova PG or their allies was arriving. I felt doomed and my bats and bots were slowly gone, but I was not retreating, because i could not let stay the GOG transport for himself. In contrary, i was close to send one of the Nova PG bomber pilots to his ancients.
Finally, after i finished a hard turn to get that bomber, 1 Nova PG fighter was showing up right in front of me and was hitting my shieldless and heavy damaged fighter with a full salvo of his guns. My fighter was dwindling through the gasclouds towards Naha and with a last reflex i was catapulting my escapepod out.
It was tractored into Naha immediately to avoid beeing captured by Nova PG.
The medical crew checked me, but i had some cuts in the face only, because of the bursted cockpit glass.
For the moment i will stay on Naha until a transport will bring me to Honshu.
Note: For those who started to doubt in my honour, i prooved them wrong and i hope my behavior will help to enforce the relations between KNF and GMG. I'm a proud son of Kyushu and will never let my hard been depressed, from beeing outnumbered the most times.
