EDGE,
From the CR perspective, I love you.
From Keeper perspective, I want to tentacle rape you to death.
From Pirate perspective, well, you could never catch me anyway.
All in all, was fun, sorry to see you go.
And all of you haters in here that talk about fairplay, you can all get ganked in hell.

Hah, you made my day! You're the first person who appreciated my statistics. Everyone in EDGE was angry at me because I enforced a template for claiming bounties. Almost every bounty claim uses this template. I wrote a PHP script that parses forum posts containing bounty claims and counts everything. The statistics parser is still available here. You can also filter statistics by bounty board, claimant and month. This way you can easily check how many Tridentes were killed in June, or how much was claimed by a certain member in February, etc.. Completely pointless and useless, I know, but...
Also, I wanted to say that I appreciate some positive words that were said here. Thanks a lot.

i do have to ask tho in the event the bounty system getseasier, will you reform?
Why not just use the "paid certain amount per month, kill every red you see in territory x" bounty option, so you dont have to file paperwork for every kill?

Well, we did that with IMG, but even flat rate contracts require players to document each kill they make under such contract. So there's no difference at all, except for less headache for the employer.
If that gets changed, it'll definitely help bounty hunter/merc groups that will be using such contracts.
I was under the impression that the paperwork requirement was introduced with the intention of being a rate-limiter, so that bounty hunters *didn't* kill every hostile they saw. Too much BH camping OC and Corsairs and so forth, so make them work from a bounty board and take pictures and detail the actions... keeps them from camping all day. As it stands right now I can't even kill pirates in the independent systems who are caught in the act of piracy unless they are on one of the boards, and that is as intended.
What's funny is the IC ID actually does allow it. But IC can't use gunboats:(
The paperwork was introduced so that people wouldnt kill people that didnt have a bounty on their heads. And would only kill those bountied in order to claim the bounties.
Seems to me the flat rate thing should be changed so that you dont have to submit every kill (unless the employer demands it) as your not being paid per person, and it would really help with this overburden of paperwork.
