Ladies and Gentlemen, this here is a classic roll call. It starts on January 1st and lasts precisely a standard, Earth week. All, who fail to respond to it in the manner specified below, will be considered AWOL. If until 24 hours later, there is still no response, the person in question will be considered missing in action.
The template looks as follows:
1. Skype handle
2. Position in the faction (You have two options - during or after probation)
3. List of CR characters (Character ingame name, ship type and RP character)
RP information on your characters is to be contained in their ingame infocards. If you don't know how to do it, use the /setinfo command family. Having a line containing the character's irp name and rank as well as the player's nickname in such an infocard is -mandatory-
I would also advise setting up four standardized automatic messages. One for engagement (of any hostile), one contraband-related, one for enemy merchant/utility craft surrender demand and one to re-iterate a warning. When dealing with slippery smugglers and heavily escorted convoys, there is little time for elaboration.
