Not so sure about that when you consider the old government is fighting against Gallia and the new government has made peace and is trading with Gallia.

So basically you say "even if they cut off supply to us it won't matter" which is what Daedric said you said even though you say he's twisting your words?
Are you intelligent enough to actually know what you're saying?
' Wrote:Actually, they would. Why? Because there are still profits involved.
No one's going to risk ships, lives and money for charity work though, and that's what it seems like when it comes to the Ronin. Unless you've someone managed to stash away a lot of Credits, the fact is you won't be able to pay for the supplies. Not without Bretonia's help anyway. And no pay = no supplies.
Not to mention, I doubt Samura would risk lucrative contracts with Gallia just to supply the Ronin.
Edit to respond to Zelots addition:
Sure, I imagine there is Samura interest in supporting the Ronin, but the fact is you're not going to be able to depend on Samura while you're stranded in Bretonia.
I don't understand what's so difficult about understanding the situation,
Gallia see's Samura supplying the Ronin, Gallia freaks out, Kishiro gets the contracts in Gallia, Samura loses massive influence and wealth as Kishiro has a Kusari Monopoly on trade with Gallia.
Sorry, but despite all this "FOR THE EMPEROR" stancing, it makes zero sense for Samura to risk it all just for the tiny chance that a relatively tiny force can re-take Kusari.
I dont think anyone, Samura, Bretonia, or the Ronin themselves will be able to supply the Ronin with all they need alone. The Bretonians dont have alot to spare, Samura has it's own concerns in Kusari and will want to be careful not to be caught by Gallia, probably only trade with the Yamaguchi and not the other Ronin bases, and the Ronin will only be able to confiscate a limited amount of Gallic cargo. That's the point, we will have to depend on all sorts of people to meet the needs, and even then our needs will probably not be met. But it is in Samura's interest, the Ronin's interest, and in fact Bretonia's interests to help make sure the Ronin can get as much as they can.
Edit: Hades, no need for insults, if you cant be civil, leave.

So, the difference then is...
A nation of peaceful collaborators...
or
A nation led by a dictator whose responsible for ordering the murder of countless bretonian citizens...
And, should Kogen regain power again, Bretonia would have to rely on his "charity" to not renew that war yet again.
Speaking from a bretonian point of view...It would be better to keep you on our knee's, fighting alongside us till the enemy is defeated - then crush you, and makes plans to keep the new kusari peaceful, or take it by force if necessary.
It's kinda like...
Truman having to work with Hirohito to oppose Stalin.
Absolutely, and I'm glad you agree, why then is West insisting that they don't need Bretonia's support? That they can survive just fine without Bretonia, and that Samura is their savior? That's the whole point of this debate.
West is refusing to sign the treaty with Bretonia, and until he does that, Bretonia won't supply the Ronin. Without Bretonia's support, it's over, yet he insists that it'll all be fine thanks to Samura.

Why dont you read his posts instead of distorting what he says.
Also, West is not refusing to sign a treaty. I am. Why? A treaty has already been signed. It is in the storyline.
