The ship =CB=CBSV-Lazarus_IV and the =CB=CBSV-Independence are research Vessels with the Corona Battlegroup, which used to be a part of liberty navy. These ships in particular is are Corvo Class Capital ships, which prevents them from entering Liberty space without an escort. It would be in the interests of the Corona Battlegroup if these vessels were granted permission to traverse the public area's of Liberty Space freely, as it's vital for our research that they gain access without hindrance.

As you said, you are no longer a part of the Liberty Navy. The Fleet Admiral may feel differently, but this status does not endear you to us more than any other organisation or individual. Given that from what you said, this is the premise for your application, and why you have provided no information as to what research you will be conducting.
We need much more information about what you intend to do specifically within the Republic, as well as a commitment for the full disclosure of your findings to us once the research is completed. We need these things to even consider your request, let alone grant it.
And then, there's the small matter of the law saying, in bold letters, that:
"Permanent clearance for foreign warships to operate in the house of Liberty is not available."

This has been the case since the law came into force. Can you give any good reasons as to why this should not apply to you or the Corona Battlegroup, now you are no longer a domestic force?

As you have noted in your response, i did not disclose the items that are currently being researched, as i did not know if it was necessarily for you to know if i could avoid it. The Lazarus in particular in current engaged in several projects that include the XY-35 Powercore and the X-4A1 Missiles System. The XY-35 is a Power core utilizing certain materials that are abundant in the Liberty area, and allow the power core to generate a superior amount of power, and takes up a significantly smaller amount of space in the hull, which would be extremely beneficial in nearly any civilian field. The X-4A1 missile system that utilizes a unique Electro-Magnetic Field that can be highly disruptive to electrical systems, including engines and weapons systems, which would be a good counter attack to the pirate menace of the trade lanes. This Particular countermeasure is designed for defensive purposes, and is currently undergoing testing with a built-in IFF reader, that detects the Friend-or Foe signal of both the target, and the ship it is mounted on. This, in theory, would be a vast improvement to currently used countermeasures, as the ones employed today seem to have little or no impact on the pirates. Some Components of these items are found in the space around Eerie, Pittsburgh, Duluth, and Houston. The Independence is being utilized in a support capacity of said projects. If it would put your mind at ease, i can continue to disclose key points in any research pertaining, or that includes transit or materials collected from Liberty Space. As you may be aware, the Corona Battlegroup, even after going independent, continued to aid the Liberty Navy in good faith, which was replied with a positive reaction from the Navy. So, if you's may show us the same good faith, it would be very much appreciated.
As you noted with the quote for the laws of Liberty Space, a warship is not permitted permanent access to liberty space. In response to this, i would like to clearify the fact that the "Corvo" Class Deep Space Explorer is not a warship, and was never designed to be as such. These two ships especially are not combat orientated, as their primary functions pertain to scientific endeavours. The only weapons Mounted on these ships are there to ensure that the ships are not destroyed, stolen or raided by pirate marauders.
