What? No. If you want to pirate human cargo then you must use the pirate ID. It's piracy. Just because it's limited to certain types of cargo doesn't make it not piracy.
You only have a choice between the ID if you are willing not to pirate the cargo. But even then it will be smuggling since they are contraband.

So the summary is the same. We can act as a pirate with the pirate ID or act as a smuggler with the smuggler ID, however we cant act as a slaver. Sure we can try to find explanations, but I dont understand the reason behind deleting the slaver ID...

So basically, it has been explained to you, and yet you don't understand - because you don't want to understand.

You are making yourself look silly.
Perhabs you are right, however I dont really undertand this situation yet. With a pirate ID you cant use a slave liner, neither dock on bases, where slaves are buyable.
With the smuggler ID you cant demand humans or organs from others.
In my opinion the slaver RP need to contain both of them in the same time. Thats what I try to explain and dont understand the reason behind this change.
If it makes me as a silly one, well I have to deal with that than.
By the way, I thought thats clear enough if I ask about something here with normal human behaviour but as I see, trolling is the new fashion here. I know, you will be surprised but I know, what is a slaver so you keep your explanation for yourself.
If you couldnt understand, let me to explain:
The slaver ID in the 4.85 contained the right for demand humans (ye they couldnt turn into slaves in a game cargo hold, what a surprise) and now its missing, like the whole slaver ID.
Do me a favor and be quiet when you cant say any intelligent.
Thanks
He did say something intelligent, it just wasn't what you wanted to hear. Doesn't give you the okay to go around insulting him in that manner. And I say that as a mod.
Now for my dev face; He was absolutely right. Demanding passengers doesn't turn them into slaves, and slave liners aren't exactly meant to go flying around trying to pirate passengers from other ships. Slavers go and buy slaves from a source, then go deliver them where they are wanted and paid well for.

You can role-play a slaver without a special ID that lets you pirate without being flagged as unlawful. Go and buy slaves then smuggle them somewhere else. If you want to capture passengers/VIPs and turn them into slaves you have to use Pirate ID, and do a little more RP (since they do not turn into slaves in your hold). It's not that big of a deal. Choose between lawful smuggling or unlawful pirating and smuggling.

Sort of like they did in the real slave trade.
Its interesting, since I thought he tried to insult me with that comment, if I was incorrect, than apologies to Hone.
And now to your dev face; If he was absolutely right I dont know how to deal with some facts, like slaves buyable on lawfull stations, pirate ID cant let players to use slave liner, etc. It was better in the last mod, since that ID contained all of the needings there. Sure I could deal with it and I dont want to force anybody for anything, just dont understand the reason behind the change.
There is a liner what is useless in its common goal and making something complicated what was simple...well I dont see the goal behind it, thats all.
By the way this discussion useless to, since as I see its not much just personalities at the moment, so feel free to close it.

Thank you for your comments and your faith in me...;)
The answer to your question depends on if you want to pirate human cargo or not. If you want to do it, you must use an ID that allows piracy (since it is in fact piracy). Otherwise you can choose any ID that lets you smuggle.
Note that the Slave Liner exceeds the Freelancer and Pirate ID cargo limits. So you will need to use a faction ID of some kind to keep it.
