6.9 You must follow the restrictions/allowances of your ID, as well as the diplomacy of the NPC faction it represents. If your ID does not represent an NPC faction (generic IDs), then your reputation and conduct must match the actions of your character. You must not dock at bases that your NPC faction is hostile to, or attack allies of your NPC faction.

Consequences: Hi guys. I happen to know the kind of RP you were doing with the mind control thing. I've been in that scenario several times myself. This creates a situation in which there is a breach of ID because the result is the person who is being controlled fires on one or more ships that are allied or even that person's same faction. The way to make this work without having reports made on you is to ensure every party that is going to be involved in an RP activity that curbs the ID rules knows what is happening. One poor player never saw what was coming and didn't understand what happened which leads to a report. I don't want to stomp on that creative form of RP that comes with Nom RP so this is a warning make sure if your going to RP out that creative spectacle that everyone involved knows what's going on. These scenarios can work when staged, particularly in front of an audience.
