Yeah, but people shoot transports to get something from them. They are also warned beforehand. There should at least be some log which keeps track of attacks, bases don't simply disappear. Even Freeport 7 had survivors.

[color=#FFFFFF]That said, you realize that the same warship explodes about 20 times a week right?

Bases should have the same message than players.
On that note: I smell plenty Trents flying around seeking revenge 8|
Freeport 7 was destroyed and no-one knowed who blowed it. so it can be some sense in that you dont know who blowed base.
but too many things here made for ballance in PvP and gameplay. so console message about who killed a base and sending message to its admin somehow is really important. it just need some work to put into
People like to take away from others what they cannot get themselves. Now many think i am mean, and would blow em up:unsure: But so far i just docked with the 3 i have found. If they show up green, or neutral i see no point taking away a possible money source/trade source. Now i see red? then i may make it go bye bye.
VR has destroyed two bases, and both because of RP.
First one in kansas they attacked a VR scouting party, hence retaliation.
Second one in Penn was because the same group tried badmouthing us and their overall demeaner made for the VR overlord to want to come down on their base with full mortar pewpew.
Lesson of the story?: Build a damned shield and keep it stocked.
My base has enough fuel to last it a Day and a Half. And I constantly monitor the Player Base Status, so If I see the shield is up then someone attacked it, hence log fighter to check it out, and if nobody there deactivate the shield, restock it to the 1.5 days requirement I have set. Simple.
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.
