Kudos to those that already started producing and selling cloaks but..fighter cloaks with the current possibilities = max 100M. Everyone who pay more is either crazy or really want to cloak/decloak in front of someone for 10 sec and does this...
To be fair, my post was saying if he got a medium one, I'd be interested in that, and that the cap 7 would only be part of the payment.:P
EDIT: And the light cloak would be best used on a large bomber or SHF, or a freighter. Using it on a LF to VHF would be foolhardy, as the post above me says.
' Wrote:My large one lets me cloak for 45mins... It's awesome. Worth 1-1.5b at least;)
Medium? 500m-ish?
Small? 200-250m.
Is is bad I've never had enough credits at one time to afford even the small one?
Trading:Boring.
RP'ing:Where It's at.
PVP: Oh, how fun it is to spend 1million credits on ammunition to be shot down in one minute
Starflea PVP: Just sexy.
Wait, I lost track of my point somewhere along PVP....
:(

Correct, but freighters will have to use MkII as the limit for MkI is 120 cargo space.

I've made my billions through piracy, a form of PvP with some good RP as well.
But yeah, so everyone can have a clear understanding:
MkI - For ships with 120 cargo or less, takes up 25 cargo space.
MkII - For ships with 600 cargo or less, takes up 200 cargo space.
MkIII (ingame called MkII Advanced) - For ships with more than 600 cargo, takes 450 cargo space.

Ended up selling it for 300m.
At the end of the day it doesnt really matter how useful it is (although if it is like the largest cloak is quite useful for transports/battleships that can help value)
its pure demand.
It's really just like an MMORPG when it comes to player made items whose prices are set by those who supply them.
The gaps need to be filled and the cloaks need to be tweaked but overall they're quite cool and a very nice addition.

Actually, quite many fighters can cruise in cloak over 6k if you mount an Au7 on them. That is enough to run away if things become bad.
So, for 4% difference in hull, you're getting an "I'm saved!" button. If you can survive for another 15 seconds without shield, that is.
' Wrote:So, I made a small cloaking device by myself.
And I put it on a Bergelmir Bomber with AU7. It has now place for 66 units H-Fuel. (Means 56 secs cloaking time.)
And using an AU7 instead of the AU8 makes only a difference of 1940 hullpoints less. (And 8 secs more cloaking.)
I like it. Has a better use than a CM in my opinion. Because you can ALWAYS run away. From every situation.
Hehe, I can already see pirates coming into mining fields while cloaked, on heavy bombers. just to make sure that certain Hege won't hit cruise button.
