Ladies and gentleman of the RMC, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Mara
Arin of the Independent Miners Guild, part of the Research and
Exploration division, chief surveyor who conducted both expeditions into
the Kuryo and Donryu Cloud. Despite being a psychologist, I was able to
perform the surveys as I'm very proficient at leading teams of scientists
who suppled me with the relevant data.
It has been a month since you last heard from the Guild and I'd like to offer
an apology on behalf of our First in Command, Mr Sanders, who is very
busy overseeing the Guild's expansion and development as well as
conducting politics all over Sirius. Due to these events, I have been granted
access to this channel by Mr Sanders himself and am here to oversee this
project to it's very end. If you are still interested in this endeavor, please
contact me via this channel as soon as possible so we can recap what has
been said so far.
Keep in mind that Mr Sanders and I didn't always agree on the same
conclusion, but I have to admit both locations Lady Silver choose for the
base construction are dangerous. However, I'm more inclined to taking
risks then Mr Sanders, but please keep in my I'm going to be realistic
regarding dangers that dark matter and electrical discharging storms
present in the aforementioned locations.
I'm eagerly awaiting your reply, Arin out.

I'm the clumsiest scientist when it comes to working with mail, you'll have
to excuse me, but I have deleted all past week's mail and I'm sure your
reply was there somewhere, it's just that I have unfortunately thrown it
into the bin irreversibly. I hope you will not mind resending it, as I'd like to
continue or finish what I was working on for most of my career in the
Guild.

My mind reading abilities tell me you want an accessible base on which
pilots of different wallet sizes could spend, yet it should be hard to find for
people of IQ less then 80 such as riff-raff renegades. In addition, you don't
want to deal with pesky Liberty nor Kusari officials or corporate figures
claiming you need a permission to build in their territory which we both
know would happen if you were to build a base in Sigmas.
If that is true, the independent system such as Kepler is more suitable, yet
dangerous as there is no one to enforce the law there, but I'm sure you'll
be just fine enforcing your own law. Unfortunately, that is not the only
present danger. All three clouds located in Kepler have a dark matter
storm present within them, ranging from mild, such as in Denko, to sever,
such as Kuryo, and the mildest one already houses a base. Let's just say
that what Mr Cooper called 'dark matter cloud mumbo jumbo' is a valid
description of all the dangers and their causes, so we can reiterate what
has been said already. Constructing a base in Kuryo cloud is feasible, but I
don't think it would be 'an open hub of pleasure' as repair bills would stack
up quickly, not to mention the Sieverts which the human body can absorb
only a hundred until it's vital organs turn into a fine paste. Because of that,
if you want your base constructed in Kepler, I'd suggest building it in
Matsuo cloud which enjoys radiation only a third of what Kuryo has.
On the other hand, if my mind reading abilities failed me and you do get a
permission to build your base is Sigmas without a fuss, then you should
only worry when the storm decides to discharge. From a construction and
safely standpoint, I would prefer Sigmas, but only for a margin. That is
because the station can't be constructed anywhere due to planets'
gravitational pull, as well as jump holes. To avoid it, you would either have
to install a propulsion system which would correct the station's path
around the planet or always keep it in place or place the station between
the two planets to they negate their pull. In addition, you could also want
to construct a base in the cloud where the gravity wouldn't be a problem,
but lightning would until we construct a frame which would act as Faraday
shield.
You would want your base in both systems, as they are both suitable to a
degree, each with their benefits and dangers. It's up to you to make the
final verdict and it's up to me to warn you of the dangers, as well as survey
the locations of your choosing.

Sorry for the late reply though.
There are some matters that are drawing my company's attention elsewhere,
throwing this little dream of mine into the background.

I did good in choosing the Independent Miners Guild for this project.
How much for the survey and analysis of both sites and where do i send the cash?
Kisses, Silver.

I am delighted I was able to fulfill at least one's dream. You truly created a
hub of pleasure, at for a moment, as I was able to answer my true calling.
Don't refrain from from contacting both me and the Guild in the future.
Regarding the funds, they should be transferred to 'IMG|Mara.Arin', the
research vessel with which the surveys have been done. Hundred million
credits will suffice and would cover all expenses which includes paying the
research team from Ames, all the commodities and the extensive man
hours it took me to analyze and present the data in an understandable
fashion.
After the funds have been received, you will get both survey reports upon
which other teams will be able to work on if you choose to discontinue
working with the Guild for whatever reason. In these dark times when the
board has shady alternative motives which made them turn their back on
the laws our pilots broke and the Confederation, I would like to make sure
your investment is as safe as possible. The reports will still be protected
from furthercopying, but that shouldn't concern you.
Kind regards, Mara Arin.
