Just because two factions have a common enemy does not make them allies. The Hessians in particular should mind their ID. Running together in a massive group often is indicative of forces allying.
As far as how expensive it could be, it is more for some than others. Make sure you eye your holds before doing anything...rash.

Note to all those involved: Our armor upgrades and possibly other equipment was unmounted. Don't suicide. edit: A confirmation would be appreciated on this.
I was there since the very start of the siege, when it was just 1 battleship, then i got my battleship, eventually we had 9 Bret battleships all shooting it, server crashed 5 times, before the 5th time, there were still no hessians in cambridge at all.
by the 3rd hour it was dinner time so I go afk to have dinner, the 5th crash happens during that time, I log back in 30 minutes later and 5 Hessian battleships are all in group with us, please tell me how thats my fault or have any control over that? id really like to hear that.
Hoodlum has sanctioned my char 13th|HMS-Snake when I didnt even shoot the god damn base, what the hell. Sanctioned for sitting there hmmm. You can even speak to Sails.Peste who made the base as I was having a convo with him while the base was being attacked. He will confirm I did not attack the base !!!!
While I would have preferred to have RP consequences to what was essentially a RP decision (a bad one, probably), a lol"sanction" isn't the worst option either, as RP consequences are genereally either neglected or blown out of proportion.
Anyone else find it ironic that shortest way to Bretonia leads through Gamma?
