Well....I've noticed starkillers to be pretty slow and have some tracking, but it's still more like a "light bomb", and work in jousting, but then it wouldn't make sense to make a "joust bomb" for fighters.if made a realistic missile, could work like a short range-high tracking missile with lesser payload but faster.
Yeah, sunslayers need to be buffed, the delay they have makes them pretty bad.
And about the idea for thrust delay, I think it would be a good idea, been playing some Jane's Usaf and it could work and make them balanced for jousts and promote dogfights.

Could Interceptors have Torp slots too? it seems it would fit their role as fighter fighters in the cast this gets implemented
Also, we could get a Torp Slot laser or something like that? that could work as a "Real Plane gun" that shoots faster and hits harder, uses more energy, but could work for something else than a MR

Interseptor with Torpedo? Why sure, lets put Light Mortar on a Ahoudori as well. hell no. LF with Torpedo slot not gonna be good. you will QQ when LF will attack your VHF/SHF with Sunslayer or MR and blow you to pieces while you cant hit it or simply catch. so no. no torps on LFs.
This could be cool idea to make that gun, but I dont see realy purpose of it. MR alreay fast enough and great on damage/energy side. if you will increase speed so it will use even more energy and most of ships would not been able to use that at all. sure Spatial would be cool on that, but it already have Bomber torpedo slot

You could take it a step further and make VHF's only able to mount torps and MR, then make LF's, HF's and Bombers the only snubs able to mount CD's.:P
But then I'd miss my Starkiller Falcon...
I love Starkillers how they are, good for removing equippment in jousts. But as the other's have said, The sunslayer needs some love.
The Loki and the Hyena both are light fighters that can mount and fire mini-razors :P

Also on the topic of fighter torpedoes, some more variety there would be cool... maybe a mini version of the Hellfire Rocket Gun... maybe cut the damage in half or something, make it use energy and ammo.
Interceptors are used to stop a ship, not to put it down.
it's actually Interceptor = fighter hunter:laugh:, or to be more exact, fighters so fast and so designed to fight fighters that they're extremely good at it, not just a "pursue" ship....At least that's how it is like everywhere else, even real life

I have a missile stinger and fitted it one with the starkiller, it worked pretty well, however right now missiles are limited to jousts, so turning the torps into that would kinda balance it:P
But that's the problem: Starkillers are only good in jousts or close range launching since they're still supposed to be Torps, now we have bombers, so fighters could get "fighter" stuff, and turn their torps into a Realistic missile, with higher tracking and range. Sunnies could be like slower and lesser tracking, but higher range and payload. Or you could sugest the differences in each:rolleyes:

Actually, that's a reason to give it to them:lol:, VHFs/SHFs are way too overused and LFs are underused cuz of low energy and armor, and I don't think LFs have enough energy for a MR, I suggested it so LFs are capable of using the missiles in case the torp buff gets implemented.
And KusEx has razor already.

MR is extremely slow, more like a sniper rifle. But that Gun could work like one of the guns in a Real Life fighter plane, didn't mean to say a fast-firing MR XD, could expand loadout and work out for people with missile ships in case of running out of ammo, I'm thinking it would be a "Heavy Laser Cannon", you've seen the gun the A-10 has on front? like that. Of course, drawback would be that it eats energy pretty fast, and it's in the torpedo slot. I think it would be good as a dogfight weapon.
